It doesn't matter if you're botting yourself or if someone else is doing it. The cap removes the major incentive of botting (more visibility) and Twitch is too pussified to just ban people for blatantly doing it.

In general you can't really know if someone is viewbotting themselves or if someone else is doing it to them, but Twitch doesn't need to give into the concern trolling about bans if there's not a "we'll ban you for ever having bots at all" policy. Someone consistently being botted for most of their streaming duration is either something the streamer should report, or they're botting themselves.

Its not banning him, but capping views to actual viewers, and revenue to non botted. To say this is unreasonable is saying he should be entitled to faked ad revenue because he SAYS it wasn't him. It being him or not is FRANKLY irrelevant. He didn't earn the money through real viewers. So he doesn't deserve the money.

Mald is back to editing YAML files on stream. I cannot believe there are 1.6k viewers watching him edit files for a game with maybe 5 people on it. Chat is moving extremely slow as well.

1900 "viewers" and the chat moves at a snails pace... There are channels with like 300 viewers that move faster.
