He is psychologically incapable of ignoring this attention. He himself has gone no where from twitter, this might even give him the excuse to be on it more because he won't be afraid of overposting on his main.
It's likely that he's surrounded himself with other addicts/alcoholics, so they aren't willing to stage an intervention when their own affairs are fucked up and out of order.

I would say good for him for deleting twitter, if I wasn't certain he's going to spend his new found free time drinking rather than improving himself.

There's a really easy way to find out if the channel was taken down by YouTube.
If YouTube terminates a channel, then it will say so in a banner at the top of the screen when you go to the URL. (see spoiler for list of messages).
Community Guidelines: "This account has been terminated for a violation of YouTube's Community Guidelines."
Copyright Infringement:
"This account has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted."
Multiple Violations: "This account has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy against [Spam, Deceptive Practices, and Misleading Content / Harassment / etc.]."
If the channel was deleted by the creator, then the message in the banner will state:"This channel does not exist" 0r "This channel is not available."

I suspect Ralph is somewhat right. The pattern for the past few days was TheQuartering hiding and deleting videos, it's only logical that Jer follows that up by also nuking his Twitter. I'm thinking the Ren Fair ban situation really got to him (wouldnt be surprised if he is scared to appear in local news), and is shitting himself that he might have done worse things but he cannot remember anything because his brain is destroyed by alcoholism.
