Probably, neyrel getting whacked is a big tell.
Also it's really fast to get alts going. Just gather some caches from dungeons/tree/etc and transfer them to your alt. Caches scale based on the level you earn them, so if you earn them at torment 12 and then give them to your alt your alt will get like 10 levels from each cache and tons of ancestral gear.

The general playerbase hated the character; and an extra factor may be that one writer for the game left between the two expansions, so if someone in the writing room protected her as their pet character, that may have stopped being the case.
I completed the Season Journey and got to ~P240, only saw two. I believe both dropped from the Kurast Undercity (running without a tribute, just for the War Plan progress).
I dunno. I view her as kind of young hopeful character which in more heroic fantasy setting would win a day through power of friendship and sheer optimism. But since it's dark fantasy she gets chewed by the world, fails to achieve anything and makes things worse. Marius was just defeatist bitch from the very start
I don't mean in temperment, I mean in terms of journey and relation to the Evils, she's a toy of Mephisto, same as Marius was toyed with by the Primes, like I said there are many parallels between the two characters, but unlike Marius who is a coward (which is realistic come on, I wouldn't go through that gate as a level 1 civilian) Neyrele is brave but naive

well yea, that's pretty apt, but with this expac they really lean into the Jesus aspect, since he, well Mephisto, is leading people to be Baptized.
now you can use the Cube and the Blacksmith to really hone your gear, you need to first remove affix's you don't like with the Cube and add ones you do, then put on the legendary aspects, socket it, Temper the gear, masterwork it after that, hone the masterwork's bonus, then once everything is done, you take it back to the Cube and Transfigure it and hope it gives you a good bonus.
One nice trick about removing affixes is that enchanting an affix locks it so it can't be removed. So if you have a really good offensive affix and a bad one, you can enchant the good one, without actually changing it obviously, and it will lock it. Then you can safely use the cube to remove an offensive affix and the good one will never get removed.
Bahh, what's all this new fangled bullshit? Back in my day the Horadric Cube gave you a full item! You had to go on the interwebs for recipes and it gave you gear with random stats and you were happy with what you got! I remember having to walk through the Halls of the Dead...uphill! Both ways! Fighting undead hordes until I could pick it up. I bet now they just give them away!
