It's bad taste to have such misleading naming when dealing with open source projects. I'm all for trademark abusing evil companies such as Google, but in this case it just leads to people complaining to the Notepad++ developers about the port that they have nothing to do with. Especially if the port is badly vibe-shitted.

This guy absolutely cannot read the room. Everybody is rightfully criticizing him and he just keep saying "i dindu nuffin, i was just tryin to do good for this world, why u all so upset".
holy crap entire thread is so autistic.

Can this actual fucking pedophile, Chibi, fuck off from literally every single thread I'm in? It's getting really fucking annoying now, fuck off, no one likes you, disgusting piece of shit. Go discuss your "ethics in pedophilia" with your other fellow pedophiles. Drawn child porn is still child porn, you're jacking off to a fucking child, kill yourself.

The dumb part is that the dude who vibecoded that macOS Notepad++ port could have easily called it something else and would still get plenty of downloads from people searching for "Notepad++ Mac" or similar. All he'd need to do is mention on his website that this is a Notepad++ clone for Mac, and SEO would do the rest.
Or even TextEdit++ considering the name of the Mac app. But then it would be compared to TextEdit and would probably be seen as buggy garbage.

So I'm here defending Brodie for not being retarded, just a normal-person leftie, and the very next day someone drops the doc? That's one way to win an argument

@Null I'm not sure which thread is most appropriate, so I'll ask here: but are you comfortable with sharing more info about the session mixup (e. g. a link to the upstream issue or commit that fixed it)?

I've implemented a ton of protocols over the years (I've never implemented http2 from scratch, though, only "normal" http(s), but I'm rather familiar with the Qt http2 implementation) and I really struggle to imagine how they could fuck this up.

https://github.com/hyperium/h2/pull/875/ sounds close but I'm not sure. A derivative library 0x676e67/http2 mentions a similar fix: "Fix sending HEADERS on a reset stream before the RST_STREAM frame."

I don't think it's that weird in any case, sending cookie headers to the wrong stream would be an easy mistake with all the concurrency and multiplexing bullshit. Null says he's multiplexing the Tartarus-to-origin backhaul, not just the final hop to browsers, so clients sharing a Tartarus node are having their traffic mixed intentionally over a backend http2 connection for performance.
