All this silly talk about the dems are going to take the house and win 20+ seats is retarded. very very slim chance they get to 210, very likely that republicans get 225. Depending on how things shake out i could see it being very close to a 210v225. 218 is majority btw. winning 7 of the 18 tossups is all that takes. And we still have a few seats to take off the table..

I'd be more appreciative of Republican midterm efforts if it wasn't all just a desperate bandaging to cover for the retarded war and costing me more to drive to work. I suppose a win is a win, it just really didn't need to be this difficult.

I get pissed every single time I have to fill up with gas, I get annoyed when my 50 buck a week groceries turned to 150, shit is out of hand and it's hurting a lot of people. Groceries were coming down a tad, but not very much and not very fast.
You aren't wrong, this war stuff is fucking us up and i hope it's over soon. Not really an alternative though, sort of stuck with what we got, and it's not like the dems give a shit about fixing this stuff either, they are so focused on getting illegals in and giving them everything.

Legit we are in a spot I never thought we could get to. You can go back to King Nigger era /pol/ stuff and see basically everyone thought we were fucked no matter what with how seats were going blue and we would never be able to cut off immigration or get something like VRA overturned but Trump has done basically the impossible.

People are underestimating what is happening right now this one of the biggest shifts in my lifetime easily.
 
The Trump years have been progress years for my kids. The youngest just got approved for a house and now their family has a real place to live.

Biden and Obama were nothing but a hassle. As soon as Trump shows up, things get easier if you are taking an honest crack at improving your life without using any tricks or otherwise being a criminal.
 
I want to stress that a Federal court taking a case from a state supreme court is not guaranteed. In fact, it is uncommon. The district and Supreme courts usually prefer to allow states interpret their constitutions as they see fit, outside of gross civil rights violations. It’s more likely than not that the Virginia ballot resolution has no further review at all.

Oh yeah, I remember online during Obama there were tons that said there'd be permablue forever and GOP would never get a president again and have super minority in congress.

This is a huge deal, but looking at DU/Reddit there's a lot saying this means a perm GOP supermajority forever. It certainly screws up their midterm chances, and 2030 doesn't bode well for the dems but I've seen the dooming and/or over cheering a lot over time by both sides. Back and forth.

I spent some time this morning going over the court ruling for the Fulton County Ballot case and a few interesting tid-bits pop'ed out at me.

1. 315K ballots were not properly vetted and lack any chain of custody. Where did they come from? Who knows there are no records. They just appeared at the counting station. For info Fulton County has 524,659 registered voters.

2. Approximately 17K mail in ballots are in "pristine condition" without creases or folds. So somehow these 17K mail in votes were placed in envelopes, went through the mail system and still arrived in perfect condition.

3. 16 vote counting machines show the exact same number of votes taken (it's a 5 digit number). Note this is just the number of people who used the machine to vote not who was voted for. This suggests that one memory card from one machine was used repeatedly to enter votes into the record.

4. Several, as in 9, ballot counting machines memory cards are "unaccounted for" according to Fulton County records and no, no one asked any questions nor was there any follow up done.

5. Probably and most concerning, the final vote totals were access several times by a unknown person when they should have been finalized and secured. This access was in 2020, 2022 and 2024.

When asked to comment, then Sectary of State Brad Raffensperger, replied that these errors could all be attributed to "administrative error" and "benign human errors.

All in all this 3rd party report is incredibly damning. If this is how elections are run in Georgia then holy shit people need to be fired and charged.

EDIT: As I was typing this shit up a faggot Jew lawyer did a far better break down then I ever could have. Keep in mind he's a drama tuber whose a rabid pro Trump'er. Not that what he's saying is wrong, just keep his bias in mind. But he's basically just reading the report aloud so most of it is accurate.
