I got it. None of my shrinking gaming group have it so I've played in random groups a couple of times. Great fun when you have a group that is somewhat coherent, frustrating as fuck when everyone is wandering around doing their own thing.


The devs have been freaking out(in a good way) in discord because they've hit over 500k sold so far.
 
Got it because for me its basically deep rock galatic but with cowboys. Honestly super fun so far, hopefully theyll add more weapons.

In the process of getting them. Havent played much, but what ive played i do like the gunplay, especially how customizable the guns and your cowboy are.

Games fun as hell so far. Reminds me of deep rock galactic / hell divers (minus the stratagems and democracy)
 
Played it more on the weekend.

The game is fun at higher difficulty due to having to actually work together. Although i havent unlocked all guns, the shotgun is my favorite. Overall been having fun and i would recommend the game on its current state. Something of a nitpick i have is the jokers when doing a mission. I wish jokers would drop for the player, instead of being a universal drop, it should be a personal drop. I get why they designed like that to encourage communication but most people dont talk even on high difficulties.

That said, the game has a future where it can stand next to DRG. I hope they add something like the Deep Dives in DRG, that would be fun.
 
Been playing this with some Discord friends. Wound end falling into the sniper niche, since that's pretty much how I roll when we play Left 4 Dead 2. At first, I was concerned, since it's functionally a bolt-action, and the bolt-actions in L4D2 are hot garbage, but when the extraction came, I realized that with the more arcadey movement physics, you can use the time between shots to dash to-and-fro in the thick of things, and it works quite well. Stacking the Joker on that makes the last two bullets in your magazine explode is a lot of fun, since with the smaller magazine, you eventually end up with every shot doing explosions.

You're in luck. They just updated it today so that each Joker drop is client-side, so each player will get something different every time one is spawned. If you're talking with your friends, you can even trade Jokers by dropping them from the map menu, so if you get something that isn't useful for your build, but it's useful for your friend, you can just give it to them instead.
 
I think the one gripe I have with this game is the lack of procedurally generated maps. Yes, I know the POIs are randomised between each mission, but ultimately you can't unsee that it's the same map each time.
 
Turns out, Consumer is really good on the Sniper. Since I run Clutch, I'm encouraged to use my whole magazine anyway, and once you have one, taking additional Consumers adds extra damage for no extra penalty. I started breaching the 200's on headshots when I started stacking the shit out of that.
