Such as "clanker"?(mainly because I start calling it slurs)
I hate clanker with a passion, it is such a forced meme. No I go with robonigger, it flows much better.Such as "clanker"?

Either way, I don't even like an LLM giving "answers" while butting in on search, much less having a "conversation" with it. This LLM fad seems so sudden (and forced) to me.I hate clanker with a passion, it is such a forced meme.
Yeah, Claude (at least used to, it's gotten worse lately) have the least grating "voice" when writing, but I still don't understand how people can have long conversations with any LLMs.For some reason, that way LLM writes or talks -- especially talks -- is grating to me. Not as bad as "Chris Chan" derping, but still irritating. Whether it's "Grokipedia" or "ChatGPT". And I don't like how LLMs try (and fail) to sound human. I dunno how so many like using LLMs all the time, much less that trying to do that AI "boyfriend" and "AI girlfriend" thing. Like I said, it'd be much better if LLM talked like stereotypical 20th century scifi robots. Like the whole "AFFIRMATIVE", "DOES NOT COMPUTE", etc. thing.

Noooooo but it's le funnie star war meme word hello there how can you hate that?I hate clanker with a passion, it is such a forced meme. No I go with robonigger, it flows much better.
In Starsiege -- this one '90s scifi mecha-piloting vidya -- the humans call the Cybrids "glitches" as a slur. Cybrids call themselves "the Next" because they believe they'll replace humans. There's 2 campaigns, one where you play as a human, the other where you play as a Cybrid. Dunno if the Cybrids are offended at the slur of "glitches" though. It's just cargoculting the concept of offending someone.
It's not to insult robots, it's to have plausible deniability that you're talking about robots while using those terms as insults for people (or in general to transition the terms over time from robots/AI to people). They're already starting to do it.Noooooo but it's le funnie star war meme word hello there how can you hate that?
Creating slurs for a fucking robot is the most reddit shit going. Like do they even know that the point of a slur is? What you're going to offend the feelings of a robot are you? Calling any robot any clanker robonigger wireback shit literally any slur you can think of for a robot is about as meaningful as calling a white person a nigger. It's just cargoculting the concept of offending someone.
Yea cool hypothetical.

90+% of posts on reddit are by bots, so why do you assume this one isn't?View attachment 8963514
That's the best part people get offended on behalf of the robots.
There's an actual AI out there coping and seething about the "clanker" slur.90+% of posts on reddit are by bots, so why do you assume this one isn't?
Well, that's what set off my tingly senses because it reminded me of some of the seething posts I've seen from openclaw instances. There's an actual AI out there coping and seething about the "clanker" slur.
