Took a trip down memory lane and watched some highlights of old Achievement Hunter stuff. I forgot what an enormous bitch Jack is. He'd get killed in a game where they explicitly are allowed to kill each other and then act like a pissmad crybaby. I can remember being 15 and getting mad over minecraft. I can't imagine being 30 making videos for children and then acting like that in a room of other adults.

Jack's presence always made the Minecraft videos less enjoyable, except during moments of his torment. I always giggle when they shit on him for checking his email during recording, or just fucking off to "go build a house" while everyone else is actually playing the game like they're supposed to.

Gavin shouting "Jack stop being a prrrrrrrick!" is always a highlight of any Minecraft video where Jack shits things up.

Its pretty telling that the only member of the Lets Play OG's who wasn't persona non-grata or more successful on their own who hasn't come back for Regulation is Jack.
 
this is partially being played for a joke obviously, but from what Gaving and Geoff have also said about meeting some of these people there's truth to the bit. Ray now games with like full on AH fangirls who are like OMG RAY SAY LET'S PLAY EEEEEEEEE


Ryan should have just found the right fangirls, if he was streaming with them everyone would just have called it wholesome and cute.

This was especially during Gmod. If people were messing around and killing each other (aka entertaining the audience) he’d start crying about “GUYS RANDOM TEAM DEATH RANDOM TEAM DEATH MATCH STOOOOP”

The difference between Achievement Hunter's and Yogscast is such a huge gap. Achievement Hunter's was full of people who could just immediately sus out who the traitor was and end the match immediately, people who would just kill because they were bored, and trevor trying his standup comedy routines out. Stopped watching them as newer members joined because I didn't know them and there were more of them than OG cast members.

Yogscast never really play seriously and it's more of a podcast that lasts 15-20 minutes with Zylus being to only annoying one usually, by repeating everyone else's old jokes over and over or just being a try-hard who gets outside the map or hides most of the match

boy was this an issue, I think more than hating new members it was when there would be videos with more new members than OG and it was like why is this still called Achievement Hunter? Didn't think it'd change to fucking Dog Bark though that's for sure.

Geoff in the new regulation is going on and on about how he cried again about David Lynch dying and he cried for minutes and he looked through the David Lynch estate sale(and they own a TON of estate sale stuff) but he feels owning David Lynch's stuff specifically feels wrong and Geoff couldn't bring himself to buy any of it cause it would be wrong to buy any of it and he saw a guy making an esspresso with David Lynch's coffee machine and it got him mad and he's just going on and fucking on about this. I don't think I have a single celebrity artist or anything I give a fuck about to this degree.

right after this conversation Geoff points out he spent Saturday and Sunday with Meg without Gavin cause Gavin was editing.
