I would assume it's similar to crap sold on Amazon and Etsy nowadays where they all pretend to be wholesaler. Nobody in the chain of 10+ businesses owns any shop except from the factory the goods were made in.
This also explains why the quality is so inconsistent. They're at the mercy of the supplier. Millcreek roasts excellent beans but it appears that they're no longer a supplier. Jer probably pivoted to a cheaper one to maximise margins because he's a fat grifting piece of lying cuck. He wanted to act like a wholesaler to pocket the difference. Such scummy behaviour, nobody's shocked. Even the White House is selling white labelled crap from Shenzhen.
