First, yes it's insane violence. Second, there's definitely a historical norm being to a return to lawlessness and violence when populist rhetoric is on the rise and things just become more and more dysfunctional, leading to a spiraling to fascist ideologies that promise to curb such violence. It's literally why people are talking about "accelerationism" for years now.

Obviously glad everyone is OK, hope the shooter/attempted shooter hangs, but this shit needs to be reeled in before it happens again, and I dont think the way to do that is by further dividing the country and escalating rhetoric.

I'm not one of those people who immediately go "this is a pysop" to everything, but god this is the most false flag to ever false flag in history. It just feels so utterly fake, especially if you check and see that a lot of the big republican Twitter accounts are gunning to use this as reasoning for Trump's Big Gay Ballroom. That is the faggiest reason for a fake assassination ever.
 
Remember Trump boasting about how Iran's Air Force had been destroyed? Turns out a base in Kuwait got hit by a F-5 'Freedom Fighter' (finally the nickname actually fits) which then successfully returned to base.
For context, the Vietnam People's Air Force has been using these as museum exhibits since 1980.

I’m officially calling bullshit on these assassination attempts. No other president has had so many in such succession. People hated Obama and Bush too and we didn’t have this.

Here’s why I call bs: what the fuck is the SS doing that’s allowing people with guns to get this close to the president? In the past, we didn’t have these attempts, not because people didn’t try, but because the SS stopped this shit before it could get close.

So it’s one of two things:

1. The SS currently is so inept that they can’t operate the way they have now for centuries.

2. It’s more smoke and mirrors bs coming from this administration which is being run like a WWE main event.

That the outrage seems to be at a nebulous leftist rather than an SS that cannot seem to control the situation makes me lean heavily to #2. And especially at the correspondents dinner, an event Trump has long hated full of the evil “fake news” media.
