I feel like Disco Elysium is a really boring game to stream. It’s the type of game where you need to sit down and dig around in it (maybe even save scum a few times to understand it's logic), which isn’t really fun to stream. On top of that, it has a lot of long and redundant descriptions which just waste time. Seems like a fun game to fuck around in by yourself, which makes it a more personal experience.

Josh should play something like Judgement and Lost Judgement (just two games that are 20-30 hours each). Play as a detective that beats the shit out of people in Japan. Could be fun, considering Josh been there (and also beat random thugs on the streets) and could reflect on modern Japanese culture. It's a beat em up game, so you can just button mash through all of it. They're from the whole Yakuza series by RGG, but they're isolated stories which make them work on their own just fine. Both are also their best entries, so it should be fun.

Disco Elysium would be more fun if Josh wasn't an antisocial menace.

Does anybody remember what episode it was where Null made a discord server for exactly ten minutes, put out a public invite, entered the vc and was greeted by a hellish cacophony of people screaming NIGGERNIGGERNIGGERNIGGER before deleting it a few minutes later?
I want to relive it but I don't even remember how long ago it was.

Outer Wilds was an excellent game but I don't think it's really MATI material.
If there was one game I could wipe from my memory and play blind for the first time again, it would be Outer Wilds.

A wannabe breadtuber made a video claiming that Turkey Tom and other commentary chuds are a “school shooter pipeline”. And later in the video he defends his cuck buddy iDubbbz/Ian Johma/Anisa’s Husband.
The only reason I found out about this video was because of a YouTuber named Diesel Patches. He made a response video calling the bread tuber an idiot

Idk man, the Disco Elysium thread and I, who never played the game before, had fun watching the stream, and I feel I got more enjoyment out of it than the stream on Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, which was a borefest. There were plenty of kino moments when Jersh
  • got Harry to shoot himself,
  • interacts with the skills and determining which ones were the simps and the chads,
  • keeps making connections of every single character to lolcows (like Harry to Nick Rekieta and Klassje to Scarlett)
  • roleplays as an "esoteric feminist,"
  • making discoveries who killed who and who ratted out who,
  • telling characters to "shut up," only to have that "shut up" be echoed by another character seconds later
  • being angry at the game design decisions by the communist developers,
  • laughing at the funny dialogue options such as the interactions with the Klaasje like "too-doo-roo-doo" and "how do you make money? (show her money)"
As much as the game angers him with some bugs (the armour) and the authority soft-lock with the Hardie Boys, which did imho get the stream boring since it felt slower, once that was done and over with, the game started progressing and Jersh started having fun which for me makes it a fun stream to watch since most of the game flows well with Jersh's personality. Whatever opinions one may have of the game, this song that is played in the bar with the Hardie Boys is stuck in my brain.


Should be the intro song for the next MATI episode because it's a positive-polly and a Josh-core indie song.
