Hulk Hogan was taking life-threatening amounts of fentanyl to manage his physical pain during his time with the TNA following his divorce from his wife, Linda Hogan.

The wrestling pioneer detailed his reliance on the drug in the new Netflix docuseries "Hulk Hogan: Real American," which served as his final interview before his sudden death in July 2025 from a heart attack.

Hulk said he signed up for the TNA (Total Nonstop Wrestling, the second-largest wrestling group behind WWE) after he gave "everything" to Linda during their 2009 divorce... and needed the cash. But, it wasn't long before he and TNA realized he was in no shape to compete at the level he'd been contracted to, so he turned to the opioid to help his severe pain.

Hulk explained ... “I was taking 80-milligram fentanyls, two in the morning, stuffing them under my gums here ... I had two 300mg patches of fentanyl on my legs and they gave me six 1500mg fentanyl lollipops to eat."

He continued ... "I went to the pharmacy, he goes, 'You should be dead. We have never seen a human being take this much fentanyl.'"

The wrestling legend got to the point of feeling so much pain, he had to sleep in a chair. He added ... "If I just twitched my finger like that, my whole back would spasm and torque."

His last in-ring appearance was in 2012, and he departed the TNA in 2013 when his contracted expired.
Dam. I heard from a friend of the guy on scene he was still strong enough in his dazed state to actually fight back against the people trying to save him. Poor dude was scared shitless

It is. Gerrymandering isn't illegal. The Brown Groyper cope is that Trump started this Gerrymandering, and it's costing us Red seats. The truth is Democrats have been Gerrymandering aggressively for years and the Rino response was moral indignation and shit themselves. The Red State Redistricting was Republicans finally fighting back in a war they've been the victim of for a long time.

And it has the Dems completely panicked. Both Virginia and California's redistricting is further Gerrymander to a level that is not allowed by their state constitution or laws. Both are asking to "pretty please temporarily allow us to break our own laws to make up for other states playing our game, just until 2030, we will switch it back we promise."

As it stands, the Dems have gained a single seat amongst the Redistricting War. Florida is going to fire their salvo, and with their current 20-8 R-D split, if they can shift just half of those to R seats, it's a +3 shift. That's before theVRA ruling(that I think Mississippi has a more favorable map waiting on, not very confident on that memory), that's after, iirc, Indiana Republicans sabotage their own redistricting to help their Dem buddies and blamed it on Trump saying the retard word.

They've already put their foot in the scales so hard, there's only so much more they can do to stack the odds when the Republicans have barely even started playing the game.
The Texas map I would argue is undoing dem gerrymandering by packing urban voters into their own districts instead of allowing them to spread out to suburban and rural areas where they drown out their votes.

Also remember how the Texas dems fled to Illinois where their electoral map is just a series of snakes coming out of Chicago? That is their definition of fair and unbiased.

I really hate to say it but if DeSantis voted with the conservative justices 100% of the time I could honestly care less if he knows nothing about the law.

Virginia has shown that the left will show no mercy and trying to play fair will end in defeat.

iirc Ron! has a very good legal head but I wouldn't trust him any further than I could comfortably spit a dead rat

This might be something to keep an eye on, Trump shoots from the hip a lot but that conqueror's haki usually hits things that just take a while to jiggle loose.

NO FUCKING WAY.

TRUMP IS GONNA GET ANOTHER SUPREME COURT PICK. DEMOCRATS ARE GONNA SCALP JOHN ROBERTS IN THE MEDIA AND THEN START A CIVIL WAR WHEN TRUMP PICKS ANOTHER CONSERVATIVE.

SUFFAH, COMMIE GAYBOS! SUFFAH!!!!!

why did blurmphler drop his knife?
He can only operate for 60 days plus 30 days of wrap up. It's been 40 days of bombing. Every day of not bombing doesn't count toward the 60 days. So, we've shifted to sewing discord and running a blockade that is going to force Iran to start capping their oil wells as they're quickly reaching capacity of storage. This will destroy their economy for a decade. Tick tock.

Dude this week has been fire:
SPLC caught being exactly what we said they were while a bunch of retards get caught with them.
Roberts caught being exactly what we said he was and what the Dems have accused right leaning judges of being.
I think there was a third thing but it is not coming to mind.

Virginia's special election of April 21st, 2026, was just overturned

Lol
Lmao even
3 days minimum before something else happens that makes the Virginia gerrymandering meaningless and the usual suspects droi with zero acknowledgement before going on about something else with "ooohhh it's sooooo ovveeeerr"
Edit to add: I Sincerely underestimated the time tho so I guess I was a little retarded there

This would also remove a potential adversary from the Republican lineup that would go against Vance in 28. Even if he's heir apparent right now, it's worth getting some more...mild Republicans into positions that would leave the path as open as possible for ease of a good run.

He was a JAG lawyer for the navy at Gitmo where he allegedly was part of uhh.... "Forceful interrogation techniques" and then was a naval prosecutor and eventually Legal counsel for the SEAL teams. He was also assistant special US attorney in Florida. So he hasn't been a judge but has fair bit of experience with the law.

Historically the above would not be enough to warrant a appointment to the high court but these are interesting times. in the past he might have been put to of the district courts for some XP before getting nominated.

Would have to persuade Roberts to retire quickly, but the time frame is a couple months. Not sure how much Desantis is respected in the senate but i do believe he was pretty well liked in the house.

getting put on the court really is just a popularity contest these days. you need to be a friend of the senate majority to get in. Cruz is infinitely more appropriate a prospect but doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of getting 51 votes. Compare that with Rubio who was generally well liked by both sides: 99 votes in favor. none against.
