Aside that they didn't and don't actually need to (unless I am missing something).

All they have to do is to put a far left incompetent democrat mole in following Trump leaving office.

Iran and China has full control over the democrat party anyways and likely has violent sleeper cells inside US soil if Trump hasn't deported them back yet (or will have depending on the new presidency's immigration policies).

Iran has been screaming about their super secret totally dangerous sleeper cells since forever, if they had any they seem to have defected or died of obesity (the dangers of invading a land of plenty) a long time ago.

My dude, we've all worked through colds and flus and know it sucks shit and ruins our day.

Now imagine having to work through that flu while fighting a war. It doesn't matter if you're not physically incapacitated. Your performance is still degraded. You're also spreading it as you're likely wiping your nose with your blouse sleeve or spitting excess mucous on the ground that way everybody else in your unit can suffer alongside you. Unless you think all these guys are going to be carrying pocket tissues and aspirin with them, there are going to be incredibly forseeable problems to allowing your fighting me to choose to get sick during combat.

Pundit Tucker Carlson is expressing regret for voicing support for President Trump.

Carlson, who has been a sharp critic of Trump’s war in Iran, said during a recent episode of his podcast and online show that prominent people on the right who backed Trump ahead of the 2024 election are “implicated” in what’s going on in the Middle East.

“So I do think it’s like a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. You know, we’ll tormented by it for a long time. I will be,” he said. “And I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people and it was not intentional. That’s all I’ll say.”

The conservative commentator wondered out loud if it was “always the plan” to go to war with Iran, saying “you don’t want to be a conspiracy nut, but like, clearly, there were signs of low character, we knew that, but there are tons of people of low character who, like, outperform their character.”

A former Fox News host, Carlson campaigned for Trump ahead of the 2024 election and hosted him for an interview during the first Republican primary debate that election cycle.

But since U.S. military operations in and around Iran started earlier this year, Carlson has turned on Trump and blasted him for his rhetoric toward Iran and Islam.
