Capcom’s Pragmata is officially out today, and, by all accounts, the game itself is pretty great. To celebrate its release, Capcom and Twitch have partnered up to offer Pragmata fans a chance to earn an official “Cryana” Twitch Chat Badge, but several folks online are already accusing said badge of being a reference to a pedophile dog whistle meme that is “typically associated with loli characters.”

Announced by the Pragmata X account late last night, the Twitch Chat Badge has been dubbed the “Cryana” badge by Twitch and Capcom, with “Cryana” being a reference to Pragmata’s android protagonist, Diana, who has the appearance of a young girl. Following the post on X, hundreds of users immediately began accusing Capcom of referencing a meme known as “Uohhhhhhhhh!”

“I can’t believe Capcom is uooohposting in their marketing,” commented one user on X. “This confirms 100% that it’s pedo bait. No more excuses can be made,” replied another. “This badge is a reference to a popular meme about enjoying cartoon child porn,” replied content creator Lance McDonald, alongside a link to the Know Your Meme “Uohhhhhhhhh!” page.

For context, the Uohhhhhhhhh! meme, or “uoh” as it’s often known in shorthand, is a reference to an infamous post on X, back when it was still called Twitter, in which a user replied with several crying emojis on a post featuring an image of a child. The user was banned, but the incident became a meme, spreading first on 4chan. As a result, several emotes on Twitch featuring underage anime women crying began popping up in reference to it.

It is more than possible that Capcom’s marketing team is unaware of the connotations surrounding the reference and just thought turning Diana into a sobbing emoji would be a funny fit. That being said, Pragmata has had issues with certain fans sexualizing the game’s infantile protagonist in the past. A subreddit geared toward erotic images and discussions of Diana was banned from Reddit in February.

Capcom did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Normal people”. Ok bud. “Gee I don’t have a dog in this race but shouldn’t people be able to creep on the little girl model?”
If you read my fucking post you'd realize my point was that the kid was wearing shorts originally which is why it was seen as odd by people not creeping on the child. Pedos and media people responded to this extremely minute and pointless change the same way as if the kid was in a thong or some shit but if you look at the example it's just really fucking retarded shit.

Well there's the issue.

Worse than that, she was wearing スパッツ spats, a tight compression garment for sports and sort of an equivalent to 'leggings' or 'bike shorts', which are often used as fetish clothing in loli art. They're fashionable to wear in Japan now as 見せパン (visible underwear) under skirts for the express reason to prevent panty shots from pervs, but now pervs fetishize them too. It's the same reason why Paulina was barefoot and had alternative tights costumes in Bananza. Capcom knows what it's doing or they wouldn't censor it for the international release, they could easily have just had dress ruffles.

When I saw that the bare feet were just the loli robot version of "She breathes through her skin" I was disgusted. At least Quiet is a grown ass woman. Yeah Capcom definitely knew what they were doing. THe robot acts like a child and looks like a child. So for all intents and purposes she might as well really be one. Remember that it doesn't taker much to get pedo dicks up. Just flash some loli feet. No amount of "Trad Dad simulator" talk changes the fact that Diana was designed to appeal to a certain demographic up to the point where they had to change what she was wearing under the coat because the shorts were a little too sexy thanks to lolicons trying to get pantyshots.

This kinda thing happens a ridiculous amount. If I recall, standard school swimwear is now understood as fetish material in Japan and CERO will in turn raise your game rating if you try to put a young girl in it. Lolifaggots just do not quit.

Funny thing about spats. They were censorship. Spats were used to remove panty shots, so that Japanese lolicons wouldn't be able to beat off to little girls.
They began beating off to the spats as a form of resistance.
