Nick's got his cuffs folded back over his jacket sleeves like a woman again. He just got told his joke sucked by Moody and said "I know - I'm not a COMIC! I'm a FAILED LAWYER!"

I've only been watching a few minutes but it seems like Nick's purpose of being there is to be Melton's sacrificial lamb. Melton isn't speaking about Aaron very directly, letting Nick go in on him instead. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit. In the few minutes I've watched, Melton's only mention of Aaron was to complain that Aaron went to a judge to get the HRO.

Well:
- If you deliberately no-show the settlement meeting
- If you don't sign the document and thus don't get a continuence
- If your main attorney can't be present due to health reasons but has not asked for a delay based on that fact
- If your attorney has not properly notified the court that he is going in for major surgery and will be unavailable to do work for his client for a very long time
- If you spent your time that you said was vitally necessary to you for business reasons openly harassing the person attempting to get the HRO rather than preparing or participating in the settlement discussions. If you make it clear by not signing the document, engaging in harassment showing that your priority is harassment of the person and skipping the settlement discussion so you can further harass the person.

You are likely to get the judge very, very angry. The judge is likely to finally conclude that you have no interest in a settlement and are dealing with the court in extreme bad faith.

But it would be just another logical step in Nick's big-brain scheme to lose on the HRO by being incredibly stupid and self-destructive.

I still think he will sign it though. (ED - obviously Nick has decided otherwise while I was writing this)

So Nick's big plan was to talk shit about Aaron, red eye back to Minnesota, show up to the court looking strung out and either be with his lawyer who said he was too hurt to work or without his lawyer, being without Melton who was also supposed to appear and let Nick talk shit about Aaron at his event, and then call Aaron a faggot in front of the judge?

The HRO was going to grind to a halt no matter what happened at Hackamania or what Nick did because Nick's attorney is currently physically incapable of representing clients and is going in for major surgery this week. The whole Hackamania thing would have been moot in the HRO case if Nick's attorney had simply asked for a delay based on his own medical condition. And they would have gotten that delay.
