Assuming it doesn’t get tossed out immediately, Karl Jobst is never proving actual malice. Jobst could have dodged that issue by filing in Australia which is way more plaintiff friendly in defamation cases, but the SPEECH Act would prevent him from actually getting anything out of Mitchell if he won. If this actually goes to court, I imagine Jobst is going to have issues explaining why he can afford to fly out to Florida for court hearings despite being allegedly bankrupt.

You vastly overestimate the generational wealth created by a single 800 sqft sports bar in Florida. Do you think anyone here sincerely cares that he didn't grow a restaurant and merely maintained it? I only speak from experience of my community but most businesses fail after new management. Maintaining an independent restaraunt is hard work that requires tremendous skill and forethought. Most people would fail spectacularly at just not changing anything.
 
I think the funniest part is that Karl could have just not fallen for the ragebait. If he let Billy ride out his single win on some random guy the Internet will forget sooner than later, this would be the end of it.


But after discussion with several other people, I'm told this is all part of the plan. Jobst can make a video saga on this and get money, and then even more if he wins the suit. But that's assuming a win condition for him. But I don't think it's about the money anymore. To me it feels like it's just a petty revenge plot and it's entirely possible it's a slapfight that will keep happening.

Sounds reasonable, and while Karl consistently got over 1M views on his Billy Mitchell videos, they are NOT the most popular videos on his channel. His most popular videos are about exposing cheaters in general, not necessarily Billy Mitchell. Since he himself got exposed as a fraud, who embarrassed himself in court, I don't think suing Billy Mitchell just to have an opportunity to make more Billy Mitchell videos is going to work out for him.

I mean he could be that retarded. It's possible given his past behavior. But I really think this lawsuit is about his ego being hurt, his inability to ever be wrong, and him marveling at the 200 IQ move of spending $500 on a court filing and an AI subscription (to wrote this document) just to cost Billy more than $500 in lawyer fees.

In the past Karl already bragged about Billy putting a mortgage on his house at roughly the same time he had to pay his Australian barrister. Which could be unrelated, but Karl expressed glee in the possibility that it might not be. Karls also hired the most expensive lawyer he could find for himself, so Billy in an eventual loss would have had to pay his fees under Australian law. Unfortunately for him that expensive lawyer sucked.

Speed running became very popular with the Millennials and Gen X. Because justice rarely prevails in the real world, manbabies with keyboards and tendies chose to Lynch cheaters in video games and it worked pretty well in video format. It also contained enough speedrun code exploit autism for technical people like Null to take an interest.

Billy cheated one of his runs where an emulator was used. These spergs wanted to see justice. Most of the audience were left leaning, frustrated with the (rightful) outcome of Michael Brown and Thug Martin cases. They saw Billy as an embodiment of all that's wrong. He's a mildly successful nepotism product with an exaggerated MURICA persona. These mostly leftist spergs saw Karl as someone who would slay the dragon. That's despite the obvious fact that Billy is nothing but your plain normie libtard who likely agrees with these goons on most things.

Eventually, most of these men and "women" grew up. Video games turned into a hobby, not their life. Upon realising that Karl lied by omission in regards to the lawsuit, which wasn't about forcing a court to officiate him as a cheat, these people flipped immediately. Billy's cheated score(s)? So what, it's just a video game. Claiming someone made a person kill themselves over court debt is way worse than cheating a Donkey Kong score while wearing an American tie.

The cycle continues. Now Karl's audience are the same teenage hobbyless basement dwellers. They'll continue to support him and then grow out of it, realising how childish their support was.
 
I think the worst part about this is that there's not gonna be a divorce arc. But that's because if Karl's wife divorces him she's gonna have to go back to china and probably get shot by just existing, so she prefers to stay with the aussie who jerks off to being humiliated in court.
