This USA has shown itself to have all the control and composure of an emotional stand in teacher in a class full of aggressive special needs kids. The situation is totally out of its control. It's embarrassing for the whole West.

Until Greenland and his anti NATO campaign I had a lot of time and even respect for Trump. What I don't understand is why MAGA Americans are seemingly happy for him to fritter away his dwindling presidential years on attempting to stabilise a region that will never be stable, certainly not in any of our lifetimes.

I'm not much of an anti Israeli conspiracy theorist but the only logical reason is that Israel has got its hooks deep into Trump's administration. The war and it's consequences have absolutely zero benefit for anyone else.

Selective Service is already mandatory. It's a crime to not register, but more importantly than some piddly ass charge you'd land in county jail for a few weeks over, you lose access to student loans and grants if you don't register. Auto-registration of Selective Service just prevents idiots from screwing themselves over if they ever want to go to college in the future. Unfortunately, this will primarily benefit black people, as I'm pretty sure they are the ones who are most likely to fuck off registering.

When you get your Selective Service paperwork at 18 as an American, it says in big bold letters that failing to register will not exempt you from the draft.

This is after yesterday's joint statement.

Meanwhile Bibi's flat out insisting the ceasefire doesn't include Lebanon and he's not going to stop bombing them.
