At this point I think pooners are more likely to make something actually provocative, troon devs are too busy gooning to be creative. Can't wait for a WPD and Postal (and maybe Columbine why not) themed shooter!

I am actually kind of happy the troons haven't infested Hatred yet unlike Postal. Probably cuz Hatred doesn't really get any updates like Postal 2 does and the devs basically disappeared (seriously, what did Destructive Creations even do beyond their Total ISIS Death turret section game back in 2018 or so?)

They've done a few RTS games and a stealth game based on the Polish resistance during WWII.

They went on to make some tactics games and publish some shit from other developers. Their most recently released game was in 2024 and it's a WW2 real time tactics game. Most of their games on Steam have positive reviews surprisingly, the only game that has a Mixed rating is Shame Legacy which is some first person survival horror thing that they published made by Fairyship Games and Revenant Games.

I'm a bit on the fence on that one. On one hand it does have it's own identity and seems to be more of a spiritual successor rather than trying to capitalize on nostalgia. On the other hand though it's clearly made by a Tumblr fag.

I played the demo a while back and thought it was fine. The only issue I saw was that the main character is explicitly referred to as a non-binary (even though they look more like a girl), but I'm waiting for the full game to come out before completely writing it of.

Already we know that there's at least 1 trans character in the game though

Over the years I've noticed a lot of LGBTNIGGERFAGGOT folks are equally drawn towards really fucked up media as they are cute media. If you see someone do something scuffed on the internet in a video game (Rimworld war crimes taken to their absolute limit, Kenshi mass nuggetry and skin farming, you name it) or get really autistically invested in something dark, chances are they're a tranny.
You have to be a pretty disgusting individual, and said individuals are also so porn addicted that they can only get off to extreme activities. Since you can't really find red room porn and for some reason straight up gore (or whatever it's called when drawn, guro I think) triggers whatever sanity they have left, so they have to substitute it with media and whatever their sick minds can imagine.

I agree with that point about corrupted porn brain, but I also think that there is a degree of autism combined with larping to it. Something like "manly men like guns and killing people, teenage boys (just like one's in my favourite yaoi) like edgy humour, look at me I'm a manly man who likes manly things like guns and killing people"

Any new big "indieslop" on the scene? I can feel the general social attitudes towards these games starting to falter, even for their target audiences. People do actively shit on the likes of bunlith now for that stupid fucking sonic meme and attitudes about indie developers somehow being infallible for whatever they do.

Pet peeve, but making a video about your own game is ridiculous to me. What happened to the sense of mystery and detachment between games and the developers who made them? Does it really make the game better that the audience knows the dev is a quirked up discord nitro chungus just like them?

In an era where indie games need advertising the most, having a group of obssessed parasocial followers that will spread your shit and participating in multiple algorithms is how you optimize PR, it's why New Blood developers are more personalities through their socials than other developers.
Many people like New Blood purely because their CEO posts a lot on Twitter and is a "zoomer".
