Vance says they expect to receive a response from Iran by the deadline. I can only assume he means a new response, because their last few have been bullshit non-starters.
He says he hopes it's positive, but Trump will follow through on his threats if they continue being retarded, and that includes their ridiculous demands to control the Strait.
 
So Iran is going to throw its general population to the meat grinder. Say what want about the United States targeting Power plants and bridges but Iran actively forcing its citizens to go get blown up is beyond fucked.

The U.S. is not forced to fire yes but strategically placing Civis there is beyond fucked. Theyre using the old human shield tactic. At this point its war crimes all around.

Oh, so when IRAN kills their civilians and creates a humanitarian crisis, it's just their culture and right to do so, but when WE threaten to do it, we're war criminals.

Gotta love people pretending to care. Not a single word on how unethical it is to "convince" (assuming it's not forced) your most valuable and vulnerable civilians into what you've been told is the line of fire. None of them care about Iran bombing neighboring states and their infrastructure. This isn't about the population of Iran, it's about them feeling good about what side of the conflict they're on.
