I agree, which is why I genuinely and unironically believe that a tf2 server needs a Hitler in charge who is steadfast in their beliefs and shows no mercy to ensure undesirables are banned on the spot. Lolifags gone, trannies gone, coomers gone. You may call it a dictatorship, but I garuntee despite such harsh punishments that those same banned groups would be constantly begging and campaigning to be let in.

I wonder if anyone amongst us is autistic enough with the source engine to actually make our own TF2 mod for the Steam store, with a built-in Emporium member blacklist that makes the game crash if your Steam ID matches one of the known trannies from the Emporium. And on crash we can print a fun error message depending on which Emporium member it is.

This did happen in at least one TF2 mod I am aware of.

TF2C kept in Valve's power play mechanic in the mod, and rewrote the roster for TF2C developers instead of the original Valve employees. Iiboharz was notorious for abusing the power play command on servers. Early copies of TF2V exploited this to automatically kick TF2C developers with "shoo shoo TF2C jew" as the reason.

I believe this roster code was later repurposed when TF2C made the mod invite only by using a Toki Tori Steam group as a check that would intentionally crash the client if you weren't found in the group. This was how they controlled who was able to play TF2C after the b4 version in 2016 up to the 2.0.0 version in 2020. As of 2024, TF2C still retains the power play mechanic but expanded the roster check to include tiering. Only users with the active developer tier are allowed to use power play. The command was also changed from condump_on to powerplay_on at some point.

Very interesting stuff, but this surprisingly isn't the one I was referring to either. I guess that means this has happened three times. I remember seeing a screenshot of the code behind the ban list in a /tf2g/ thread at some point within the past few years. And there were several personalized ban reasons, for the several individuals on said list.

Edit: Also, there is this Endchan thread from 2017 that comes up in a search for Alphablaster. In the main post:

AlphaBlaster- TF2 sperg from /v/ that wanted to MAGA but then we started calling him gay and finding his house. Even though he went all over 8chan spewing “Gas the Kikes Race War Now” rhetoric and banning everyone from his discord that was slightly to the left of him he tucked his tail between his legs and went on a deletion spree to escape “nazis” that were “threatening his life”. He is also an erotic sonic the hedgehog roleplayer.

There's more in the posts within that thread, it's a nice little time capsule of Alphablaster lore. Sadly it seems all the image URLs were (purposely?) excluded from being archived by Archive.org though the thread itself was successfully archived. I also did see this Reddit thread, wherein:

I'm sorry for being off topic but I just did some digging and found out ultr4nima and Jonesrichter hang out with a guy named Alphablaster who was largely responsible for killing the TF2C community largerly for starting witch hunts for players and essentially banning anyone who was deemed "degenerate", typically this was stuff like if you played undertale or were a furry. However it started getting out of hand when he started banning people by proxy or who had a friend of a friend who was "undesirable". Then from there it got more out of hand where he banned people for muting mic spammers when most mic spammers tend to have low quality audi. This kept going on till people started asking for him to be removed from the community. Then after some digging it turned out alphablaster posted on a 8ch board called /cuteboys/ and had posted pictures of himself there. Eventually it was discovered Alpha was pretty much doing everything he was banning for and thus retreated into a discord server after a board called /cow/ which documents "lulzcows" created a dossier on him. He's still really upset about being outed and the only people still hanging around him are birds of a feather more or less. I ended up doing all this because I just found it odd to be met with such hostility here when not many people know of the mod here on reddit and the only people who really know are the people who have played it or seen the threads on 8ch.

I have enough mental fortitude to waste lots of time on pointless projects, but here I don't think it'd be too valuable; We know that nu-TF2 people are mostly leftists and adjacent beings, so when they see a place which rightfully excludes them, they'll rally and petition for it to be closed down, then attempt to infiltrate it as if to "Claim".

Apparently he was the leader of the nationalist socialist German worker's party. Now I don't know much about this fella but surely there can't be anything too objectionable.
