It's a degree at some schools. But fundamentally it is a degree for people who couldn't hack it at computer science or engineering. ALL degrees in IT are this, in the United States.

Israel's really different because they have universal conscription, and this means that all of the smartest computer-oriented young people they have, are immediately and at a young age put into cybersecurity as a field.

Israel is miles ahead of other countries at cybersecurity because they pull their best and brightest to do it. In the US and most of the rest of the world, cybersecurity is where you end up if you're not good enough for a CS degree.

So a lot of the "I can't get a job in cybersecurity" guys are very average people with extremely mid performance in life, but they think the degree will give them a ticket to the big time. It will not, because nothing would give a 100 IQ person the massive leg up to hit the upper class from some standard wagie occupation. Cybersecurity tricks people into thinking it's a smart person's job, but actual cybersecurity practitioners (outside of Israel) all got C's.
Cybersecurity is also quickly becoming more about the bureaucracy of "being cybersecure" and moving to a zero-trust solution that doesn't let users do anything without SOC2 compliant logging and response tracking. This means experts have finally realized you cannot train users to be secure. They will fall for retarded phishing emails every time. So all they do now is recommend "industry standards" they can memorize and parrot without needing to understand so much of the actual systems. It's like a soft sales role, where you just suggest cybersecurity software like AV, cryptolocker resistance policies, phishing training suites, and workstation executable management they can subscribe to.

Many of these people might have sold insurance instead of doing cybersecurity, same basic premise.

The goalposts have moved among the Fagpacks and FagsMcCools that "you lost two C-130s and a chopper all for one soldier"

How much of those were a total loss, I know Studs is still counting everything damaged as a total loss for the war and it's hard to tell because if BRICS Browns reporting.
The Germans were kinda shocked by it in WWII.
I hear we still shock the world with how much ordinance we're willing to use up in training. That's one of the pillars of the US Military, not only is our shit the best in the world, but we use it. All of the losses in Iran absolutely is going to make our armed forces better. Lamenting over material usage is for poors, even practical training and testing will only teach you so much. Even those F-15s shot down by our own equipment by Kuwait is probably a great educational opportunity.

namely Hamas and Hezbollah. Those organisations has mainly fought against Israel.
241 US soldiers would disagree with you on that.

Israel IDs the autists and puts them through high schools designed to make them into hackers. The Magshimim program is also notable because it specifically targets poor people who wouldn't have the opportunity to discover their skills in such fields.

It also helps that there's a lot of Russians in Israel who are naturally talented at that.

My condolences to all the wandering TES fags who wanted the downed pilot to be captured and raped to death by muzzies. I know you are hurting really bad right now because he was rescued in a perfect operation with total success and America doesn't give a shit how much it cost. Hang in there bros you'll find a new thing to bitch whine and complain about soon enough

Nigga posting like the gay crackbaby of our own lovable Hulkster and Fatpacks.
Make me, arab-lover.
Why don't you post your hand?
You are the one crying about those poor widdle brown ayyyrabs being bombed...
bombing the wrong towelheads
No such thing as a "wrong" towelhead when they're in an American bombsight, sweaty.
who praises Allah on Easter sunday.
Tis the 'tism that makes it hard for you to understand things like sarcasm, banter, and general shittalk.
sad. many such cases.

No, your company will hire an Indian OPT and you will have no say in the matter.

We just hired a young, white male onto our CISO team, just one of the ~65 million white males in America who have jobs.

You respond as if there is a level playing feild, there is not. There are 10s if not 100s of thousands of young true blood Americans who will never have a chance in their chosen feild of study because of the indian ethnic hiring nepotism and bodyshop cartels.

1.6m new jobs to Americans in the last year versus 0.04m to foreigners:

There are half a million job openings in this field the USA. Even if every single H1-b granted this year was in the cybersecurity industry, that leaves 400,000 jobs for you to go for.

You know who doesn't work in his chosen field of study and works in companies dominated by pajeets? Me. I wish I had chosen something as hot as cybersecurity, but I blew ten years of my life on something stupid. I did a hard pivot to a new field because what the fuck else am I going to do? Sit around and whine? So the idea that you are sitting there, looking at one of the hottest industries in America, one that is growing at double digits, one with half-a-fucking-million openings, and you're just sitting down, quitting, declaring the whole field unobtainable to the white man because you personally ran into roadblocks, and demanding free money, well, that's the kind of loser attitude you can't hide in an interview.

I am telling you to get your shit together because this toxic mentality you're displaying poisons only you. If you don't get mentally past this, you will ruin your life. You will be an old man some day, blaming everyone else for how much your life sucks, while people who started out with far less than you are doing far better because they never quit. I actually don't think I can convince you. Just saying it because someone should, I guess.

Go fuck yourself.

The best way to fuck yourself is to throw yourself a pity party.

Get your shit together.

I saw this happen to so many people I was at one point on even footing with. People who decided one day that nothing good was ever going to happen for them and that whatever setbacks had affected them were permanent...they were always right. Always. Because once you decide that's true, why would you do any work for anything ever again? And so these bright, promising people get stuck in the doldrums and never get out.

And then there's the people who are just pigheaded fucks, who no matter how many times they get laid off or rejected from interviews or told they'll never succeed, just shrug and keep trying, or even get angry and try even harder. Check their LinkedIn every few years and they're still climbing, even people whose skillset isn't particularly in demand and who aren't better than decent at their jobs.

Of all the qualities that will help you out in good times and bad, through sickness and health, poverty and wealth...I recommend sheer cussedness. Even if you just keep going out of spite, what's important is to just keep going.
