They didn't. No Iranian attacked America on 9/11. None. Iran has supported several nasty terrorist organisations, namely Hamas and Hezbollah. Those organisations has mainly fought against Israel.

Not hearing lots of people talk about regime change or "the free people of Iran will stand up to their regime". I'm sure they're welcoming the incoming total destruction of all their civilian infrastructure after their leadership was destroyed.. well over 5 times now. Yet all of this was predictable with Israel being involved in this conflict. They don't care about the people of Iran, they'd nuke all of it if they could.
