If someone is an American in this thread, no matter if love or hate Trump, why would any want the US to lose this conflict?
There are a lot of Americans that take their comfortable way of life for granted and have no concept of that lifestyle being contingent on the success of the country.

They truly believe that you can swap out one culture for another or tear down entire financial systems with no impact on their personal liberties and the freedom they enjoy to be complete asshats on a daily basis.

It would almost certainly result in civilian deaths and possibly turn some of the population against us, but it would also cripple the regime.
You can't really project power if you literally have no power. There are only so many generators to go around.

Hitting water, power, and gas all at once would likely be a fatal blow but could lead to a mass civilian loss so taking away the fighting abilities of the regime is the most optimal choice.

Bombing them to kingdom come is our strength as Iran wants an attritional war and we should do all we can to deny them that.

Couple weeks with no power or water should motivate them.

How many weeks specifically?

-Iran bombing campaign continues without a clear end in sight
-IRGC effectively runs the entirety of Iran now, as any internal opposition figures who haven't been bombed have been either fired or discredited for ever attempting negotiations with the US
-Iran continues to pressure shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, but has allowed through some vessels of allied or unaffiliated countries
-A few US aircraft were shot down with a couple being destroyed on the ground by Iranian strikes. US currently conducting CSAR missions in an attempt to recover the WSO of the F-15E recently shot down over southwest Iran
-US openly discussing possible ground operation in Iran to seize 1000 kg of enriched uranium; they also talk about the logistics of such an operation like requiring heavy paving equipment to establish an airhead inside Iran
-Israel expanded its ground occupation in Lebanon declaring a permanent no-go zone up to the Litani River, displacing about 1 million civilians under calls by the Israeli Defense Minister for "destroying every house" up to the border
- 2 Marine Expeditionary Units have arrived in the gulf region.

- The US also has deployed forward elements from several Army divisions, including the 82nd Airborne.

- Several Army generals were dismissed at the Pentagon, including the Army Chief of Staff.

- President Trump appointed a former commander of the 82nd Airborne as the new US Army Chief of Staff. This is seen as a move to align Army leadership with the needs of the coming ground operation.

Note that the 82nd Airborne's involvement doesn't necessarily mean a paradrop. The 82nd seems to have been remodeled as some sort of rapid reaction force.

You'd think two weeks and the civilians will start looking like those Africans on world vision ads, carrying shit on their heads from the well 5km away. Maybe they can refine oil into a beverage, I'm not a refining expert. Summer will be interesting for them.
Summer was already very interesting for the Iranians with daily 2hr+ blackouts and water shortages.
Now, they claim that part of the reason for the power shortages is the fact that the IRGC runs massive shitcoin farms; so it'd be interesting to see how/if this affects the IRGC's economy as well, although they seem to be doing fine as they are extorting the ships that want to pass through the strait.

If someone is an American in this thread, no matter if love or hate Trump, why would any want the US to lose this conflict? Losing would signal that we can no longer defend the waterways and might call the confidence of the Dollar into question. Losing a war like this is different from Afghanistan because losing that didn't ultimately threaten our commitments, this is a different kettle of fish.
Because you're dealing with people who deadass unironically believe that war is politics, and all the perverse implications thereof.

Why should Iran heed Trump's desperate pleas for peace?
If this were true he'd just withdraw lol

Worth caveating that allegedly the Chief of Staff getting shit canned had more to do with butting heads with Hegseth over DEI promotions and other Biden-era military policies than Iran operations.

:optimistic:

Now I don't know how this explains the other "generals" getting dismissed, though.

Fuck telling the media anything tbh. They're mostly rats. I bet if Trump told NATO he was going to hit Iran here's the exact time, they would have leaked it, the Spanish fag would probably tell Iran personally.
Bold of you to assume former General Mark "I'd tell the Chinese" Milley wouldn't beat the Spaniard to it first.

Why the fuck do you live in the "Great Satan"???
To taqiyya the infidels while you multiply inside their borders, duh.

Reports indicate that clashes between IRGC forces and Baloch separatist fighters in Sistan and Baluchestan province have resulted in casualties. ️Among those killed is said to be a Basij commander. ️Initial information suggests at least 2 IRGC members were killed and 5 others injured during the fighting.
Let's see if the IRGC will see more deserters quitting their ranks.

Why do these terrorist shitheels even still have accounts?

TBF it's better if you can talk to your foe at any time. That being said, twitter is wild and I dont understand it at all.

Because there are people in this country with no loyalty to the nation and just want to see it crash and burn so they can give the ashes away to foreign brown people.
Posted this elsewhere but since you brought it up,

It sounds like fucking everyone is sick of Pakistan. They aren't mediating "negotiations" anymore, Saudi Arabia is pissed that they refused to honor their protection contract, and now the UAE is reclaiming their loans.
India will probably nuke them at this rate.

This all smacks to me as being about Israel and India. Israel and India have relatively close relations because they both have to deal with Muslims. Pakistan thus was in the natural orbit of the anti-Israel Arab coalition. But as that coalition moves on, at least temporarily, from placing hatred of Israel as their top ideal, Pakistan now finds itself in a position where it's losing economic and political links to countries that can bolster it against India.

Granted Pakistanis are somehow more hateable than either turks or arabs as far as muslim ethnicities go. All the streetshitting of indians and all the barbarism and pedophilia of islam
