Again, half the time I strongly feel these people throw darts at a board and just put whatever sexuality/gender it lands on because I would totally love to know why they think half the characters are lesbians or trans.

While I was bored, I tried a small challenge to scroll through the troons day of visibility hashtag on Tumblr and see how quickly I could find Islamic "art" by a pooner and a troon respectively. The very first post, while not satisfying the Islamic condition, was this:

Apparently taking care of yourself is pedophilia.

For a group that loves to seethe about pedophilia so much, they sure love to use childish aesthetics for their political messaging.

As for the Islamic content, they are disgusting but shining examples of the "ugly safe horny" TIF style contrasted with the "extremely sexualized" TIM style. NSFW, do not open these at work or at all.

Most of the troon posts in the tag were pictures of their ugly mugs rather than "art". This was the first troon art by a troon and, while creepy and pedophilic, is far more technically skilled than any of the crap the pooners shat out that I had to scroll past. Even in the gender-diverse troon community, males value technical skill and visual appeal while females value social signaling and "the message". Really makes you think.

Bonus: The pooner artist's persona design vs. the troon artist's persona design. A fat, shapeless furry blob vs. a big titty anime demoness. Their chromosomes might as well be giant neon signs. There is no better parody of troons and pooners than themselves.

I've been thinking about the argument "Its to add rep" and I realized how useless the argument is. I mean to give an example, them making Penny be in a wheelchair. Has anyone in the handicap community responded to this artist to go "Thank you so much for this! I feel so seen!" Even if they have, what's the point? Penny isn't in a wheel chair in canon, so should I just love the art because you gave this character the same disability I have? It would just feel narcissistic imo.

She comes to deliver stuff in like, kinda remote places that are not exactly wheelchair accessible.

I mean by SJW standards this is very mild, just being a 'he/him' and anti-proshipping. Which does fit the redesign very well because its also very mild, she is 2 or 3 shades darker and slightly more emo but they didnt make her ugly or even really desexualise her.

Plus if there is one person that deserves to have their property be cursed with endless woke redesigns its DEFINITELY yanderedev. Yandere sim redesigns get a free pass in my mind because even the worst slop is still spiritually superior to anything touched by that dude.

I had TOTALLY forgotten about this until you two mentioned Metal Sonic and the gender insanity people.

There are probably dozens of ways different pokemon could basically be tailor-made to help someone with a disability, and honestly if I was more into pokemon or more woke I'd be all over trying to make THAT a hashtag or w/e in the artist community. It's a lot more positive than just drawing Vaporeon with titty scars.

What makes it worse is that from what I've read, Arven's story is based on the Director's own experience with losing his folks... So it does add context to why Arven is the way he is.
