The Palm Beach Zoo in Florida announced the births of three healthy capybara pups and shared video of the animals exploring their habitat on Thursday.

The zoo announced on Tuesday that the triplets were born recently to parents Iyari and Zeus. Iyari came to the zoo in 2024.

"The family is enjoying their time together behind the scenes and their adventures are too cute not to share," the zoo said on social media.

A follow-up Instagram post on Thursday showed the babies exploring the capybara habitat for the first time.

Capybaras, native to South America, are the world's largest rodents.

I thought it was an one time exception to help some starving people in south america, I didn't realize they still do.
Only in Venezuela.
