Staple of a nation. Pâtisserie of legend. The go-to place for getting called racist, where sosijrolls are abundant and stæak baæks are plentiful... also, apparently on every fookin' corner in UK metro and on every other corner in the suburbs. Did you know there exist Greggs outlets? That's got to be the first time I ever saw that type of store for a bakery chain. Full location list here.
buh anywæ - UKiwis, what's your Gregg(™) go-to choice, and why? Are the vegan options any good? Word on the street is their pizzas are sweet but cookies aren't - how true is that?

I (un)fortunately cannot set foot in the UK, so sampling the authentic Greggs cuisine is not exactly an option. That said, the local offerings (the ubiquitous sosijrolle, chiefly) can be quite delightful, a review of a few of which will be posted next paycheque.
