Literally all Trump requested was that they send a few extra assets to both prove to Iran that their intimidation tactics don't work and to give confidence to the transport tankers.
Iran's last attempt didn't even actually hit the ship, but they still refuse to step even one toe out of line after Iran proved that they were lying about having missiles that can hit them.
I'm not saying every head of state should strap on their combat boots, but something to prove they aren't Iran's bitch would be nice.

They haven’t sent anything because they have nothing to send. The Natoid armed forces are complete jokes. If they agreed to participate it’d make them look even more laughable. Their minesweepers turn up with barely enough crew to sail and maintain watch, not enough fuel for the return journey, no minesweeping gear fitted and no ammo for the gun.

British territory has been attacked repeatedly (Cyprus and that Indian Ocean base) and they offer no response not because they won’t but because they can’t. Nothing to respond with.

Beyond the states in Eastern Europe which maintain decent ground and air forces (as their economic capabilities allow) Europe’s armed forces are a joke.

France’s military is functional but France just does whatever, they always have.

The United States should really re-examine its commitments in Europe in light of such things.

Maybe Europe knows that America is a nation of marks. Why would they pay for something when the United Paypigs of America will cover the cost?
True. I am pretty sure most of NATO just told trump they would up their spending with absolutely no intention to do so.They are waiting till 2028 for americans to apologize to them and then pay for European protection while being spit on( Based tbh)
Should probably wait until the USA doesn't need air bases in other NATO states to prosecute its current offensive but maybe they don't need them.
muh airbases
What was the purpose of NATO and why does it still exist?
muh russia.

Perhaps some pact should be signed with the ziggers(they will not keep to it of course) so focus less on that region.

Is that why Britain refused to let us use their bases until we shamed them into doing so (and are still promising that we won't use Cyprus to launch attacks)?
The entire reason Trump wants Greenland is that he doesn't trust Europe to let us use their bases should China come knocking, and they just proved him correct.

US Naval Aviation strikes on the IRGC's Saheb al-Zaman Corps base in Isfahan.

Two missile launchers were struck by US/Israeli airstrikes in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.️ One was struck yesterday, and a second today.

Nothing to respond with.
The situation with HMS Dragon is itself comical. The RN pays so badly for its contracts, and is so shitty with its workers, that they went on strike lmao. The fucking boat was high and dry doing nothing, because the UK has burned so much cash on corrupt bullshit, that they can pay their mission critical staff just ever so slightly above min wage

Why does Bessent always sound like he's on the verge of tears? Is it a gay thing?

Bessent is nervously blinking four times a second as he lists the successes of the air campaign and can't bring himself to say that this means Iran is beaten.

As long as the tankers are not moving through the Strait, shit is still on fire. As long as the USN is not willing to send its ship through that Strait, civilian tankers won't either.

What do you guys think? Is this bullshit? Is the Ford really the best in class carrier and will it really be unusable for 14 months? How mission critical is it?

U.S. Navy Nuclear Aircraft Carrier USS Gerald R. Ford Might Be Out of Action for 14 Months
14 months total or 14 months on top of a more routine 12 month maintenance downtime?

Yes because some silly bullshit you read on twitter is exactly the same as a head of state dismissing thousands of fallen soldiers who died answering America's previous calls of arms
1) I don't use social media lmao, that hostility is just from what I've seen first-hand
2) "calls to arms"
3) Is this something that actually happened or is it just another case of people bitching and crying like an ex-girlfriend over some vague implication in a Trump 5am toilet tweet?

I find myself doubting that orange man said "Lol lmao all those soldiers you gave the US in the GWOT? Rip bozos, they were cringe, gay, and didn't matter." and it's far more likely he said something more along the lines of "Europe doesn't do shit for us and their military sucks" and people sperged out and used the corpses of soldiers that died 20 years ago as an emotional bludgeon.

It may be buried somewhere in his 10,000 word wall texts publicly seething, written in Chris Chan's voice
