There's 5000 rabbit farms in the US alone. In the EU 300M rabbits are slaughtered a year in rabbit farms for food.

My argument against letting third worlders eat pet store slop isn't an emotional one, it's out of an abundance of caution and reason, try to understand. These people are animals. In their turd of a country, Peru you said, that animal has been bred and domesticated as meat stock for thousands of years, I'm fine with that, very cool. Because of That, the animal is not the same as the one you get at a pet store in America. The one at the pet store has never been tested or bred for human consumption and it isn't intended to be. There's no regulation for breeding them and they are given who knows what in term's of medications and other treatments to prevent certain diseases, none of which is done in consideration of Thiago or Luciana buying and spit roasting it in the street. They could become ill, contract some God awful disease who fucking knows. The fact that they see a pet store as a wet market shows how incompatible people like them are with >our civilization.
