ICE recognized him as the guy who bashed a cop car's tail light out the week before, and he had a concealed carry gun and more ammo than it's legal to carry in Minnesota. It's not hard to tell that he didn't come there with good intentions.

ICE was on edge due to all the people following them, people just coming up and threatening them in the street- it might have not even been an accidental discharge by Pretti. It doesn't matter. Cops are trained to shoot if there's any chance their lives may be in danger. Children and teenagers are taught not to make any sudden movements around cops. Do not fuck with the police is common sense. Well, unless your brain has been replaced by all the cholesterol you've eaten over 50 years, like Fat.

While we've been amusing ourselves with Barely-Black-Jackie, the pests on the other forum have been digging deeper into the shittily-coded MockTale app.

For one thing, it turns out that Patrick, Niki, Lynne, and members of the Pat Pack have been leaving fake 5-star reviews for the app, which you can see on the Google Play page (a) and Apple App Store page (a). Examples:

Secondly, the matter of the API keys being exposed in the front-end code of the website was apparently even worse than initially thought, with the compromised keys being of the kind that would have possibly given a malicious person the power to make purchases with the owner's money.

However, exploiting this would have been a federal crime - so instead of doing that, the pests decided to be Good Samaritans and notify the website developer and owners of the problem.
Curiously, they were ignored, leading to suspicions that the API keys were left exposed on purpose as a honeypot:

Bernard ("Josiah Munoz" of Josiah tapes fame) reports (a) that the website version of the app was finally taken down once he reported the API keys issue directly to Lynne:
I emailed Niki, submitted contact forms, and emailed the developer directly (6 messages in total), telling them that their API keys were exposed and gave them clear instructions on how to reproduce it. They did nothing. Days later I finally decided to email Lynne, and shortly thereafter, the web app was taken down. These 2 bums are likely planning another podcast tour (now with an actual app to promote instead of just their victimhood), so they wanted to maximize the trolling against them, once again at other peoples' expense.
