Metatron says crazy nonsense.

Wasn't there some kind of flood event in the Middle East that was supposed to be related to the mythological floods in the region ? I think I've read something like this years ago, so I don't remember it clearly.

At most, the scholarly consensus is that common middle eastern flood myths might point towards vague memories of some local event (likely restricted to Mesopotamia) long ago, given they are couched in the misty past. I don't think anyone with credibility would asssert THE global flood of Jewish or Mesopotamian myth occurred as it was referenced.
Even once you get outside of the most literalist interpretations of the events of Genesis most Christians accept the theory there was some regional flood. Retarded Evangelicals ruin everything with how literal they take everything that happens in Genesis and start arguments where non existed.

It's also why I as a Christian subscribe to the idea that the Earth/Solar System being 4ish billion years old doesn't contradict anything in the Bible.

6 Days to God is not the same thing as six days to us. God separated the time into days to make it easy for us to understand.

Yeah the Biblical Authors used the term "The Whole World" in a metaphorical way several times throughout the OT

Yea and not all AI is automatically unwatchable.

The reality of AI historytube is that it basically does what alot of mediocre historytube does. It rips content from news articles/blogs without citing them and just presents their work with mass produced visuals.

The human history channels that will survive AI are the ones with interesting obscure knowledge, in-depth analysis and reasonable/challenging editorializing. Presenting something from an actual journal in an actually watchable way or even just doing a full historiography is still a skillset.

maybe but with how many channels they can create within a short span of time, it'll overflood the market with garbage and make it harder to sort out whats actually made by a person and whats not, especially if the ai gets better at what it does
a thousand slop channels will be recommended to you before the one good channel does unless it already had a large established base

Perfect example:

I don't look at the Bible for questions like: "How old is Earth?"
The question I look at is: "How do I not burn in eternal hellfire?"
I genuinely don't care about the science debate with religion.

As a French, the fact you don't have this in the US is absolutely unbelievable. It's so normal here, no one would think of an election system without having to show an ID.
When it gets brought up, a vocal minority start saying it's racist despite most everyone having a government ID of some form.
