Ask men why they do things the way they do and maybe you'll get an honest answer

Because I'm afraid that he thinks I'm ugly and I don't want to be rejected. Basically the same reasons that a man doesn't want to approach someone I suppose?

I told ONE person I liked them years ago. Got rejected. NEVER AGAIN. No thank you, I'd rather kill myself
Serious answer time: you've already had the bandaid ripped off, you know what it feels like to be rejected. It sucks but you found a way to deal with it and move on. It's might suck to be rejected again. But it's infinitely worse to wonder about what could have happened.

What is a trait in women that makes you swoon? Nothing sexual, a personality trait you find very attractive.
Physical competence and strength. Seeing a woman do pushups with good form, or run like they mean it (not that stupid girly run where they hold their arms against their chest . . . that pisses me off).

Physical competitiveness. Seeing a woman try to out exert me at a relative level, even if the outcome is a forgone conclusion. A woman who is willing to win.
Whole video is good, but the finish winds me up like nothing else.

A good, mean sense of humor. Someone who can take a joke like a man.

Is it true that men usually won't approach a girl if they think she's 'too pretty'?
I don't think it's "too pretty", per se, but an evaluation that there would probably be incompatibilities. It's basically another, nicer, way of saying "high maintenance", reserved for cases where the end result looks attractive rather than just expensive.

Would you rather be respected and admired by all men (but women hate you), or loved and adored by all women (but men hate you)? Don't worry about how this hypothetical situation would even come to be in the first place.

I guess it's also about like,, ideally it would be the guy taking initiative. I'm not the hardcore tradwife type but I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned, and if a guy isn't willing to take the first step then that's probably not the love of my life ya know? All of you are telling me to ask him out and stuff but I'M A GIRL!! :'( :'( That's not what I'm supposed to do come on now....

(I should mention that I got rejected by a girl. I was a confused teen. Funnily enough she's a lesbian (at the time she was bi) and I'm very much straight)

I'm already the first one.

Then don't. Do whatever, I'm not your dad.

Being old fashioned is fine, but even back in the day women would go after men they were into.
Hell the dude might have a touch of the aspergers and not know you are into him.

Do what you feel is right, but believe me when I say heartbreak heals easier than regret.

But the gist is that women who are particularly beautiful know they're particularly beautiful and thus feel entitled to being treated a certain way simply for being particularly beautiful, which tends to mean they fucking suck and are more of a headache than they're worth.
Well that sucks... I don't think that's true most times.
Meanwhile people who look normal act normal because they aren't accustomed to being treated like royalty.
See, I disagree. It's the average ones that always act entitled as shit (both men and women from what I've seen).
Also the last few generations of men have had it systematically beaten into us that expressing interest in a woman in any way is literally rape and will ruin our lives
Yeah I get that. It sucks for me lol, but if I were a guy I'd be cautious about that too. Modern dating is confusing. I feel like men and women kind of hate each other now and are constantly suspicious of one another.

Then don't. Do whatever, I'm not your dad.
I just have one last question and don't be mean to me pls

Is it true that men usually won't approach a girl if they think she's 'too pretty'? I see this sentiment online A LOT but it's always other women saying it and like... how would y'all know.
But is it true? Does my crush not approach me because he is simply overwhelmed by my ethereal beauty or does he just think I'm fat and ugly lol
Yeah that's a thing, men are frequently told to undervalue themselves. If they think they are trying out of their league there's a solid chance they'll not bother at all because it will end poorly.

In the insignificant percentile you aren't joking, just talk to him first. Then you'll find out if its because you're ugly or its your personality that sucks. Mystery solved.

Fuck sakes

Just fucking go for it. Being rejected isn't the end of the world

Or don't... and wonder what could have been

Anyways: do men wipe the tip of their peen when they go pee or do they just wiggle it and hope for the best?
This is not the Pooner Zoo, Miss.

A man would not say or think this

Nothing sexual, a personality trait you find very attractive.
For me, it is calmness. Women who are in control of their emotions. Rare, but they exist.

Trusting in your own judgment and self-control. I utterly detest the crop that psychoanalyzes every single gesture and ascribes deeper meaning or wants to “talk about it.”

Nothing more attractive than a woman who knows you’re simmering and want to crush the windpipe of a rival, but trusts you and knows you well-enough to know you’re in control and it doesn’t need to be discussed.

The first. I need to lead men, and they're the ones that get things done in most aspects of public life. It would be impossible to work or accomplish things if all men hated me.

Being loved by all women would be fun, but "fun" is what men do in between accomplishments. It shouldn't be our main mode of being. (It's a good indicator of a man-child if he prioritizes fun over being useful, to the point where he "needs" fun in the majority of his life.)

I watched a video from a guy who ran a marathon while fasting and it dropped his serum testosterone to practically zero and he self-reported being paranoid and anxious and suspicious of his friends and overthinking their conversations and second guessing the intentions behind their totally innocuous comments. Shortly afterward his testosterone normalized and he stopped feeling that way. It is, quite literally, in their blood.

Spoken like someone who got to choose their struggles.

Shiiiiiet, are you too pretty? I'll approach you right now. How hard could it be? *clears throat* What's up, WRA? My name's drink, can I take you out for a Twix sometime? *voice cracking* Errr, wait. No, reverse those. *bead of sweat drips down forehead* What I'm trying to say is... *notices people watching as face turns beet red*... um, do you want to maybe, get together sometime? Or, maybe not? That's cool. That's cool if not. *turns and pushes into pull door while speed-walking away*

Men won't approach a girl for many reasons and the context of where you know/see him matters. If a guy thinks a girl is out of his league, he's probably not going to try. Women will also feign interest in men they're not interested in, which is an annoying thing men have to navigate. If one of you is at work, that's an added layer. Plus anytime a guy hits on a girl, he basically opens himself up to being labeled a creep whenever the girl wants. I think a lot of guys just assume a pretty girl gets hit on all the time and is unlikely to be the latest annoyance.

If you like him, do you know anything about him? Invite him to a show or something.

This would work on me I'm afraid.

I only know his name and what he looks like lol. I've said this somewhere else, but basically I want to get to know him to see if we have stuff in common ya know. If he turns out to be boring or rude then I could just move on with my life. I just want to engage in a casual conversation with him to see if he's cool or not !

We have different ideas of what romance is.
Expand on this. What’s a romantic thing a woman could do for you? In my experience, which admittedly is with the least romantic men on earth, they don’t care
Always go for it... The fourth worst thing that he could say is no
And the other three are..?
Physical competitiveness. Seeing a woman try to out exert me at a relative level, even if the outcome is a forgone conclusion. A woman who is willing to win.
Well you’re rare then. I once thrashed a guy at open water swimming*, a race he insisted on, by the way, and he sulked and then took up hardcore triathlon training and started doing Iron Man events and the ultra runs. He then dumped me in a particularly cruel way ( and then called me again after he was married to someone else to ‘apologise’ and try to worm his way back into my affections.)
*literally the only sport I’ve ever been capable at. I float.

So how do you know of him or what context would you be able to talk to him?
