Honestly for those who fail to realize that the American dollar is backed by the trust it can protect the sea lanes for safe trade, so if nations like Iran try to pull shit in the strait, it's to use all in our power to stop it.

Probably because it isn't "identical to Iraq", we aren't there to occupy Iran indefinitely and establish le hecking wholesome democracy by imbedding US forces in their military and quashing civil wars for the next decade.
Our only concern is weakening the current regime to the point it's completely ineffectual and/or can be overthrown by the repressed and incredibly pissed off Iranian public.

I don’t give a fuck what they want for themselves, they have every right to fuck up their own countries however they see fit and it affects me zero. But pretending the US is some economic island when we have such shit industry and can’t even get our farms functioning without growing absurd amounts of corn that we then subsidize is insane. We are the largest economy and still the international currency but causing a conflict that fucks the other half of the worlds economy does hit us very hard in the long run. They said Iraq would be weeks or months at the start too. They have not really given any conditions for victory and the fabled “revolution” they claim to be causing seems to be nonexistent. If anything the replacement leaders and government is even more extreme. Funnily enough bombing civilians tends to make them cozy up to the dictators and extreme elements they once opposed. Also this ensures we can’t respond to Russia in Ukraine, China circling Taiwan, or North Korea pressuring South Korea. This is the best thing BRICS could have hoped for

Enemy naval forces approaching the same conclusion.
Enemy ballistic and cruise missile forces already reduced to a fraction of their former strength, and diminishing by the day.
Enemy leadership has taken fuckhuge casualties and counting.
They have no objective, measurable basis for which to claim the US is losing, so much like AGPs and other genderfreaks have to play word games with the definition of military victory and military defeat, they twist and contort and jump through hoops of logic to find subjective and vaguely relevant metrics to use in their place.

"Greater Israel" as you mean it isn't a thing. Israel has no ability to hold that much land, and if they did they would not start with Iran. The only evidence of Greater Israel is a patch some guy put on his uniform and some quotes from Israel politicians where they're obviously talking about the West Bank (and some schizophrenic theories about the Israeli flag).
The Greater Israel conspiracy theory is an especially annoying conspiracy theory because it ends up being a thought-terminating cliche since literally any actions Israel takes to improve its situation can be ascribed to ambitions at Greater Israel. Taking out enemies, improving diplomatic relations with neighbors, military reforms, attempts to boost the economy. All of these things would be indispensable whether you were trying to build a massive empire or just trying to maintain the existence of your nation.
This is not unique to theories on Israel, if you decide that any nation intends to conquer every other country in the region then everything it does seems sinister. Why did Mexico assassinate a drug lord? It might have been because he runs a criminal empire that kidnaps, tortures, and extorts Mexican citizens or it could be to eliminate a distraction in the heartland before conquering central America to reestablish the Mexican Empire. Why did China build the Three Gorges Dam? It could be to handle growing demand for electricity, and build big shit to show off or it could be because they needed a more effective way to move troops up the Yangtze to Tibet in order to launch an invasion of Kashmir.

War is terrible. Any loss of life is terrible. But how can you witness hundreds of your country's troops dying for nothing and just go back to stand around, waiting to be next? People talk of the futility of WWI, but at least they were giving back about as good as they were getting. They weren't advancing, but at least they were holding the line and without them the war would be lost. Here they aren't even serving as token resistance, the only reason that they aren't suffering more deaths is because America and Israel are more interested in taking out equipment than soldiers... for now. And in terms of fighting back, they got some enemy soldiers on the first day and and a few dozen civilians, but that's it. The enemy is just as effective today as if every single Iranian soldier had stayed at home.
I know that they're getting fed AI slop propaganda, but the truth still comes out even in these situations and it just seems like an incredibly demoralizing thing. It's like one of those stories where Earth is invaded by aliens who are so hopelessly powerful that we can't do anything as they conquer the planet. I hope they mass defect.
