I agree with you, but just because it's only some states RealIDs doesn't mean it doesn't allow RealIDs. The letter of the law even specifies the real ID act of 2005 as being the minimum, so they obviously expect realIDs with that info to be put into use. Not to mention now that SAVE is on the table there's a chance for amending the REAL ID system to always require nationality.

i don't know what fucking shithole state these people are from, but in ohio it's 22 dollars for a copy of your birth certificate. a passport card is only 65 dollars. a passport book, 165, is valid for 10 years. this doesn't matter, though, because that's not what the SAVE act even requires. it requires proof of citizenship, which a REAL ID is appropriate for. you can also use any photo ID that shows your place of birth.

OR, you can use a regular ID and show your birth certificate, a hospital birth record, an adoption decree showing birth in the US, or even your naturalization paperwork.

none of this is difficult to obtain in any way. none of this costs more than a few cheeseburgers. this is fucking ridiculous.

it's obvious the dems never suggested this because, much like Roe v Wade gave them infinity arguments about abortion being codified, this gives them infinity arguments for why voter ID should be illegal, because it's mean and nasty and evil and classist.

they also know those fees add up, and cutting that revenue would make it a lot harder to enact socialist programs to get niggers addicted to.

The real question is if this has any chance in passing or if there is any way around the issue. Everyone knows why they don't want it.

I mean, what did they expect the Dems to do, "oh shucks, I guess we'll give away the only way we win elections"?

Surely they have a plan B.

Blue states will never give up their exorbitant blood-suckingfees. The answer to every budget shortfall is "jack up every fee you can/raise taxes/new taxes" in blue states. This is why I added my mom to the titles of my cars. I get a huge senior discount. She's on my car insurance, too. She hasn't driven a car in a decade, but the insurance man doesn't need to know that. I like paying 170 bucks for full coverage on 3 vehicles. Its much easier than when it was 375 for just me.
