Yeah, I'm pretty sure the symbol on the sleeve is supposed to be the KKK symbol (apparently called the Blood Drop Cross), I'm guessing she added it because just a white sleeve wouldn't be super recognizable on its own

There's so many weird things going on with this piece in general, the characters look fine for what she usually draws but everything else kind of feels rushed somehow. Like she had to get it out of the door ASAP after she finished drawing the characters

Edit: oh it's a work-in-progress, that makes more sense

(shrug) it's pretty common for people trying to make ~le political~ art to put symbols on the characters so you know whose right and wrong. if it was just a faceless long sleeve with a gun the message doesn't really come across. not that i think this art of pups is very thought provoking in any kind of way, but i appreciate the effort i guess. the characters are kind of generic but i like how they're not just booby blobs with as little fabric on as possible and big retarded moe eyes
 
ngl i like the gmilf panda. call me a faggot but i like body positivity and seeing different body types and ages in art :x it's just annoying that 99% of the time she's patting herself on the back for being soooo daring drawing fat furries. i think the shading is better than usual for pup. she's been shading with blue and trying to do a reflective light bouncing off skin thing. which....doesn't make sense for furries, but at least she's trying something new. i think her symmetrical moles are cute.

the BLM furries is a pretty ambitious project too, i'll give her that as well. i'm glad she resisted the urge to make the characters all fat and booby, and she actually drew men for once. maybe i'm being too optimistic here but i hope this picture turns out well.

Tbh I wouldn't mind if she at least made the symbol or uniform right...like Nazi form with Nazi symbol or kkk form with kkk symbol. Then it would make sense and we wouldn't have any questions.

It's considered bad form in art circles to complain about the art you put out. If your art is prefaced with something like "uwu sorry the lineart and perspective and anatomy is so bad i tried;;; hng sorry don't hate" that just inclines people to look for the negatives you're talking about, vs bigging it up and giving people a good impression before they look at it. Clearly Pup has missed this lesson.

What's funny is that Autumn is claiming she's been working on this specific art piece since late 2025, but it's crystal clear she literally just churned it out just in time as everyone is praising Sinners for winning a few awards from the Oscar's.

I am probably one of the more racist users in this thread and I have no problem saying if Autumn decided tomorrow 'you know what, no more need to shove everything in a bikini, I will devote myself 100% to black pride art' I would be a happy camper. She has the most milquetoast takes in the world, it feels like ~raw graphic art~ being drawn by a twelve year old, but for gods sake maybe it'd make her learn something about her own culture for once and realize that something doesn't have to have tits out to be valuable and celebrated.

I'd love to see more art that celebrated being black. Especially that celebrated being black without feeling the need to be 'black in comparison to-- subordinate to-- superior to--'. No race or demographic should have to feel the need to be defensive and prove themselves as better than anything else. If Autumn decided for the rest of her life she was just going to enjoy being black and make work about that it would be a hell of a lot better than the current trashy indignant mess of her trying to justify the shit she likes.
