It isn't a wig. She spent her youth hating herself for not being white. Then around 2017, I'd have to check, started hating herself for not being black. She's tried to be famous before the Jackie persona and documented going from straightened hair to nappy curly hair, to dreadlocks. During this time it was more about being mixed race and not having an identity and wanting to help her kids and other mixed race kids.

Then she went full race grifter. I used to think it was pure grift, but I think her brain just broke due to TDS or getting overly invested in all the race riots, covid, whatever. Take your pick. Modern Stephen King couldn’t pull it off, but 80’s Stephen “Coke King” King could. Remember: his magical negroes, narratively, are universally capable despite being negroes. You as the reader are supposed to consider an amount of quaintness in their involvement. Otherwise he includes black people in his stories for the express purpose of being victimized by characters he needs to cheaply and easily establish as bad guys.

The funniest part is that Patrick could have avoided all that by staying calm and actually linking to all the articles, but instead he had to be his usual cunt persona, and that was perfect fodder for the Snow Queen. His outright refusal to ever explain himself (as that would be akin to "letting the idiots win") makes this whole thing possible in the first place.
