Hell, arabs from the gulf share the latters view of guns(though they atleast have the excuse of being a second world/safe country atleast) and think America's a warzone full of guns and violence which is true with SOME states (but said states also have strict gun laws/shit police force AND a high nog popluace). It's even more comical with gulf arabs because even among the more military spergy iranians it's a common joke that arabs are UTTERLY dogshit at war and some even jokingly threaten arabs online that they all would be speaking farsi if it weren't for America (hasn't exactly aged well now lol, but lets be fair;It was American equipment that saved their ass).
A ground invasion of the gulf states by the iranians if they didn't have all the issues plaguing the country's resource's could've REALLY turned ugly without American(and covert Israeli intelligence support) support.
