So do SWIFT transfers work? My bank doesn't have SEPA transfers so I was interested in that route.
Either that or I'll just have to do the GiveSendGo.

the info for swift transfers is in the same section as the SEPA transfers IBAN BIC / SWIFT i think for sepa you only need iban for swift i think you need the bic code too its the code of the bank your sending to. maybe GiveSendGo is easier

For any other unfortunate UK Farmers, I have encountered an issue with my bank and wanted to know if anyone had the same issue with Metro Bank using the mobile app:

- The moment I put in the IBAC code I got an error messaging stating 'the sort code and account number don't match'

I have no idea why it is asking for a sort card and account number - it's not something their own page says is needed - https://www.metrobankonline.co.uk/ways-to-bank/products/international-payments-on-mobile/

I ignored it and continued to input all the other details but it woulden't let me hit ok. It was greyed out and I couldn't continue.

I'm using the process my bank outlined for SEPA, and copying and pasting the details to make sure that I'm not mis-entering things.

I've tried to call the bank but they're shut for the weekend.

I think this is a bank related issue - I've confirmed the bank accepts payments for Finland.

Anyone have any ideas? I can't use online banking via the web right now, but this will be my next step.

Edit: Just to make clear - I'm following the steps outlined both by my bank and have made sure to enter the details correctly. The fact it's asking for an account number and sort code despite me being in the international payments section (and there NOT EVEN BEING A FIELD FOR ACCOUNT NUMNBER AND SORT CODE) says to me its the stupid bank.

I am annoyed.
