lol just saw this

Brent is over 100 again.
3 ships hit in Hormuz and 2 more hit in Iraqi waters is a bit of a stronger signal to the markets than a dozen mines scattered in the strait.

@SneedOnTheBeach I'm betting 130 or plus by the end of Sunday. Naval aviation will try to do something but... I dunno.. I don't think the Navy is up for it. Don't get me wrong, inflation and a recession is not something I'm excited for.

CENTCOM released footage showing U.S. strikes on Iranian air assets. The first plane is a C-130, the second is a P-3 ASW variant, and the last aircraft is an Il-76
Three aircraft whose crew could probably lean out a window and high five, each hit dead-on, all without so much as disturbing the shrubbery and pebbles on the tarmac. Who else could do that but us? How have the mudhommeds not gotten it through their turbans that we could put a rocket up their nostril with that sort of accuracy if we wanted?

Browns run on cope. If they manage to kill 1 more american/israeli by the time this is over browns all across the world will get one more day of pretending they're winning against the evil empire and from that one day they will derive more delusional euphoria than you and I will experience across our whole lives.

When Assad fell this was incredibly true. The final moment it was confirmed he fled the country and Damascus fell, you had pro-Assadist on the internet pat themselves on the back claiming "He may have been defeated, but can you name another man who lasted as long as he did during a civil war?" in the most pathetic way of conveying that getting participation trophy owned the West.

Anyone claiming Iran is secretly winning is beyond ridiculous. Look, I get that the NAFOtards were obviously excessive in their claims that SLAVA UCRAINA would have toppled Putler any day now back in 2022-2024, but these people are definitely delusional in the other direction about BRICS strength.

They simply need to drill it into their heads that Americans have been taxed to death and exploited economic dominance for decades so that our military is superior by far to that of every other nation on Earth combined. That should be common knowledge! Chomo Joe's botched Afghanistan withdrawal, DEI military policies, and giveaways to the Hohols simply aren't enough to counteract all that especially given that Trump took his rightful place back in the Oval Office.

What? You think that just because he speaks in a direct plain simplistic style that he's somehow 'dumb' and our decades-long military buildup is irrelevant? Expecting Iran to win is like expecting a 5 year old girl to punch strongest-man-on-Earth Hafthor Bjornsson to death just because Bjornsson took a few months off from working out before getting back into shape the past few weeks.

take 'Peter Jansen' here for instance (some scandi or libtarded scandi-american) "The biggest and most expensive army this world has seen and it prooves incapable of beating a country which spends less on their army than ICE in the USA."

So it seems like they'll fold in two days :)
"We will not deal until Isreal no longer exists". Crazy to me that there were so many retards in the other Iran thread thinking the Iran WMD angle was a convenient excuse (it was) and unfounded hysteria (it isn't) as if they wouldn't turn Tel Aviv into a crater the instant they were nuclear-capable (they would).

I mean it’s more apparent that the entire strike/ operation/ war had multiple justifications. One being nukes which Iran is forever 2 weeks away from getting (supposedly they haven’t denied enriching Uranium beyond what’s necessary for nuclear energy), the other being they support various groups in the region to destabilize it, and the last one is that they are Shia.

The arming and training a bunch of retards is the big issue with how the Houthis (backed by Iran with the drones) started attacking ships. The current stuff in the Strait is much the same issue. The US will not allow that retard shit to happen and can’t. IIRC the Houthis started attacking ships again prior to the Iran shit. It’s likely the bigger reason why Trump decided to go in with Israel. The US will not let some retarded Muslims be pirates again.

This is why iran is different from North Korea when it comes to having nukes. Koreans have realistic demands, they are evil as shit but they are rational in the sense that they're not trying to usher in some apocalypse based on some drowned well boy who loves death.

THe kims are evil shits who should be thrown into lava but externally kim's demands are very straightforward and doable: let him keep larping to his populace about how they defeated america, let him keep stuffing his face with cheese and fucking his harem, and leave them alone and they won't fuck with anybody. There is no such appeasement you can offer muslims other than your own severed head.

Apologies if this has been covered already, but I didn't find any recent mentions of us bombing the Parchin missile plant in Iran, and likely a nuclear weapon site. We seem to have hit it with B-2s.

While much of the surrounding solid propellent motor facilities were destroyed by Israeli airstrikes in Oct '24 and June '25, another facility labeled Taleghan 2 in these pictures, was recently rebuilt and hardened after it was hit in '24.

Taleghan 2 is believed to be a nuclear site and was likely used to test compressive effects of shaped lenses for setting off nuclear warheads.

In Nov '25, the site was rebuilt/expanded, while by mid-February it had been covered in concrete and then soil.

There was much bragging about this "completely invisible" bunker:

But now we've got new satellite photos of the facility that indicate we have since hit it with either BLU-109 or GBU-57 MOP bunker busters, basically Midnight Hammer all over again. These pictures were taken earlier today March 11th.

A comparison between Fordow (left), Taleghan 2 (center), and Natanz (right)iran-nuclear-site-impacts.jpg

They only tools the Navy has available to mine clear is a Burke destroyer, and I think there's only 8 in the Lincoln Strike Group.
I imagine they want to set up for minesweepers, but I don’t know how they could safely go about it at this point in time.
Seems like most of our anti-mine focus has shifted towards underwater drones, like Archerfish and Knifefish, and soon Riptide, Barracuda, etc.

We've had the Archerfish for years now, like 700+ of them. It's the navy's main mine-neutralizer now. They lower it out a MH-60S Seahawk and then use the drone to hunt down mines and shoot them with shape-charges from a safe distance.

Knifefish is a fully automated UUV mine hunter, so no fiberoptic tether like the Archerfish. Barracuda and Riptide, likewise, but they aren't deployed yet.

The B-2 actually lacks nuclear standoff capability IIRC, it can only carry nuclear gravity bombs.
True, though it might depend how far along the AGM-181 LRSO actually is in development.

About 5 months ago a B-52 with orange test-markings was spotted carrying what appears to be LRSO stealth nuclear cruise missiles, which the B-2 supposedly will carry.

Hey the White House could have told me some Shita durkas kicked down some girl's lemonade stand and I'd have still said bomb em. They don't have to sell me on it. As long as we're not going full-on regime-builder and atomizing them from the stratosphere then I'm happy to have made the tax dollar donation. Just wish they'd have let me sign one of the bombs 😠

I think that was semi-kept as a reason to justify it, instead of cancelling it in the mid-80s and just slapping stealth missiles to b-1s and b-52s.

Some B-2 advocates argued that procuring twenty additional aircraft would save money because B-2s would be able to deeply penetrate anti-aircraft defenses and use low-cost, short-range attack weapons rather than expensive standoff weapons. However, in 1995, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and its Director of National Security Analysis found that additional B-2s would reduce the cost of expended munitions by less than US$2 billion in 1995 dollars during the first two weeks of a conflict, in which the USAF predicted bombers would make their greatest contribution; this was a small fraction of the US$26.8 billion (in 1995 dollars) life cycle cost that the CBO projected for an additional 20 B-2s.

Also the F-22, and b-2 were heavily curtailed by cold war defense cuts, they were left as is with barely no updates bar some software updates to the avionics in the 2010s.
The F-22 was to have a whole new suite of weapons and a lot more sensors than it actually flew with, some of which ended up in the F-35 decades later.
