I naturally lean towards shia islam since even as someone who regularly curses Muhammads name out. Atleast with shia islam you have more Leeway than the "FOLLOW EVERYTHING OUR CHILDFUCKING PROPHET DID!". but my guy, have you seen the shia reaction over Khameneis death? These people acted like their fucking parents died. How in the ever living fuck isn't that borderline idol worship?
Basically just see it as this: Sunnis are like Protestants and Shias are like Catholics. Sunnis are much more decentralized, they don't have a hierarchical structure outside of individual imams and sheikhs for local mosques and masjids and they just follow whatever is written in the Quran, Sunnahs, and Hadiths. Meanwhile Shias have a centralized, hierarchical structure with different important figures in their religion, with Khamenei being the twelver shias' version of the pope. So like yeah, if the pope got shot I'm sure you'd see a bunch of catholics mourning in the same way that a bunch of Shias are mourning Khamenei.

Oh and Sufis are like the crazy pentecostals who speak in tongues and play with snakes

It would've been funny to see a middle eastern cuba that inevitably would've fallen apart lol.
it's just that such a level of force was off the table for George 'Islam is Peace' W. Bush and the Islamophilic liberal crowd.
Westerners tend to ignore that the reason muds tend to regularly use bleeding heart propaganda against them is because they're scared of the very real implication of westerners becoming sick and tired of muds and deciding to go hands off on the islam question and making the hama "massacre" or the shit serbs did post Yugoslavia look like a cakewalk in comparison. Hell, the only reason the pakis haven't gotten lynched and their mosques burnt to rubble over the grooming gang scandal in the UK is because they know the government will assrape the people into submission. If the government was to fall though...I dunno but if i was a paki, I'd fucking run to any airports or ships that go to Pakistan or any muslim majority country.

For context, the US military uses per day roughly $0.5 billion on salaries.

These quick knockdown of despotic regimes for little American lives and dollars has been amazing as sometimes shitheel nations need to be reminded who has power in the room. I bet the Castro regime is shitting bricks RN given Maduro got Churroed, Khomeni got KOed, will Castros get Castrated?

It may be more then a technicality if Iran keeps trying to blow up shipping in the gulf and sending drones in Qatar and Kuwait. At this point, its now legal for all UN members to dog pile on Iran if they do so.

Iran has quite literally been hung out to dry by the Russians and Chinese. The US and Israel were never going to stop, but this is the excuse neutral parties like the EU and the Arab States needed to join the beat down.
No no no, please! Experts on twitter and even in this thread have been trying to argue attacking other countries and murdering innocent sailors is a GREAT way to make everyone bow to you.

The fact that drones are starting to target their IRGC forces on the ground is starting to really make them panic, I think. They thought they could hold out forever if they could just keep the populace locked inside, but now their peacekeeping squads are starting to get ack'd in the middle of the street.
Wait. I thought today was their big announcement of "WE'RE NOT HOLDING BACK ANYMORE! NO MORE RETALIATORY STRIKES! THEY'RE GONNA BE CONTINUOUS FROM NOW ON!"
What do you mean the launch numbers went fucking down?!

The people giving the dumb stickers are all-in. There's no going back for them now. The only reason I'm still posting here is so future people can get a chuckle out of the stickers attached to what I'm saying so they'll know whose opinion about everything can be safely ignored forever.

If they have electricity.
They might not have electricity, but the infidels may have gallium.

Pretty sure that's illegal bro.

edit: Turns out the rest of the quote was important to understand what was being said. Who'd have thought!

correction. The closest analogue to the pope is the imam which is the rightful version of the Sunni caliph the successor of Muhammad according to them. Although both were sort of tied to temporal power in a way the pope never was. Ayatollahs are far beneath in authority and are more like rabbis in that they're traditionally considered scholars of text more than divine conduits themselves.

The rank got massively diluted when the revolution happened tons of people got the title.

khamenei himself wasn't even a regular ayatollah before he was quickly elevated to the rank. And he was never considered a grand ayatollah. This of course is mirrored by his son who also doesn't have very strong theological credentials.

For a theocracy, Iran's leadership has been arguably untheocratic for some time run by surprisingly low tier less esteemed clergy. Who everybody seems to know got their titles more out of political manuevering that scholarly chops. Sort of like a military Junta run by a lieutenant out of ROTC.

Zero. We have no clue where it all is. Not. A. Clue.
A clock so broken it only right once a week... but it is entirely realistic that we either don't know what deep underground bunker its in exactly or aren't sure how to get through a million blastdoors to actually get at it in a reasonable way.

Uranium is highly trackable with high tech stuff. But let's not pretend they didn't think that through where to hide it.

lmao holy shit, contrary to popular belief visible radiation is often blue not green, I wonder what the fuck just got released.

Israel just drops a big on in downtown and really gets this show on the road?
OMFG!!1!

Shhhh..... Let him dream... Why spoil it for him? He doesn't want a rational, mundane explanation.
Had a blackout a few years ago. Some critter got onto the transformer on the utility pole, to surprisingly similar effect. But that isn't exciting, and it's not going to help Stud feel like he's unlocking arcane knowledge and unraveling conspiracies. Let Agent Mulder have his fun. Its charming, in its own way.

The idiot thinks Shahed drones are completely invisible to radar and other detection systems because they use propellers. He's hopeless.

Called it. Reuters reported that Iran only dropped a dozen naval mines in the Hormuz. So this is was a "performative" mining. As for oil the markets, they seem okay. I think they are still predicting a quick end to the war so the price hasn't spiked.

Just FYI to keep it real, Iran has capabilities to lay naval mines remotely. One platform for example is the Fajr-5 MLRS that has naval mining configurations. I'm sure they have more platforms for the same role.

So if you see mine laying ships getting destroying, don't believe it means Iran can't mine the strait anyways.
Yet another reason to send the Iranian regime to hell.

A single Iranian ballistic missile was intercepted near Jerusalem.️ A few Hezbollah rockets (2-4) were also shot down by air defenses. No impacts reported.

Visual confirmation of an Iranian drone roaming Dubai airspace.

An Iranian drone "fell" on a building in the Dubai Creek Harbour, UAE.

Holy fuck those are some serious precision strikes.
I wasn't expecting to see anything like that until next week, minimum.

The Iranian regime is fucked once people take to the streets.
