nah, I'm just here because my posts kept getting moved from the other iran thread even though when I check it people still argue in there. So fucking arbitrary how those rules get enforced

The other Iran thread is zogged out when I read the posts there it sounds like a bunch of people deep throating the letter h. This thread is used by Americans and its noticeable. Maybe its always been this way, but I always imagined containment threads would contain the tards, but the tards are on the main thread. The racewar guy is alright though.

It's not a secret that the Pentagon has gone rogue. They don't feel that they are under the executive branch. This has been going on since Bush Cheney.

I do think a lot of the casualties were probably avoidable though, jarheads do like to watch the fireworks, and sometimes that backfires. IRGC is probably hunkered down in the mountains, the cities (mostly Tehran) probably don't have any real presence, not even the dog catcher(he got bombed by Israel on Mon).

which is ironic because this is a free speech forum. if you argued pro israel points you wouldn't be removed. once my threadbans up im going to go back in there and speedrun another one.

It's just Ukraine redux. I still remember the people who literally sat in that thread all day, parsing and analyzing every little stupid fact like THIS IS THE ONE THAT WILL CHANGE THE WAR, staring at the same fucking map and the line that moved a few miles to the east, a few miles to the west every few months as if any moment the multiyear stalemate would break and one side would sweep through and conquer the other. Freaking out when a drone crashed in St. Basils or Ukraine crossed the Russian borders and hit a few towns. It's the endless consumption of pointless minutiae as if it will somehow change the big picture.

People get outright addicted to that shit like crackheads because it gives them a sense of superiority to be 'informed'. Same with this conflict. Wars always move at a glacial pace, and you can't get that iv drip of minute by minute updates and maintain a sane, detached outlook - because the losers who have no life and are willing to provide you with that have an agenda, one way or the other. Otherwise, they wouldn't be wasting their life doing that shit. Get a life. Go outside. Check what happened every few days. Look at statistics critically. If something seems retarded, it probably is, and the person has no life and is spending all their time talking to telegram groups full of schizos.

Why would you want to deal with all that? I don't really care about this other than we have no reason to be there (((other than the obvious one))). But gas is going to be more expensive, and the only reason it dropped below $100 a barrel yesterday was Trump playing with the market. Once it's all over, and the Saudis and Emerates start rebuilding it's going back up. Plus we'll have refugees from every country other than Iran.

When da jooz are a major reason for the conflict, they are an on-topic subject of discussion.

It’s funny that you have to go all the way down to 4th grade education in the insult, since the miggers you need are a bunch of rubes who didn’t go to college.
