The issue with Europe is that the institutions are still controlled largely by aristocrats and their stooges. It was no secret in the 1800s that the continental European establishment actively rooted for the failure of America. They saw us as a potential threat after the French Revolution and the rise of napoleon. They needed America to fail because America, although it had some elites, was largely ran by the merchants and self educated farmers. Many in Europe, and especially the UK, assumed America would have its little experiment then beg to be taken back in by the English monarchy to bring back order. Just like what happened with the English when they executed their monarch and were ran by the parliament. This never happened. The European establishment then tried to bring monarchy back into the Americas and specifically to Mexico. They funded the Mexican conservatives and sent over Maximilian to get a foot hold. With the long game being the eventual overthrow of the American republic. The us supported Benito and the Mexican liberals who would ultimately prevail and execute Maximilian to send a message and in retaliation to his execution of Mexican liberals.
The American experiment seemed to come to an end much to their delight in the American civil war. The observers there largely concluded that the lessons wouldn’t be applicable to Europe because America had more forests and wasn’t as densely populated. A few English observers raided alarm bells that America could take Canada and be a real threat if they wanted to and that such a total war was a real concern, but the continental Europeans largely ignored this warning. They believed that warfare in Europe would be quick and decisive, that casualties would be minimal. The victory of Prussia over Austria and France seemed to confirm this.
Then WWI broke out. The Great War basically buck broke Europe. The casualties were immense. In retrospect the parallels with the American civil war were made clear but there was little solace in the deaths of millions. Furthermore, it resulted in the European aristocracy losing significant power and influence. It was essentially a family feud that spiraled out of control as the bodies stacked up, including the royal family of Russia. Across the board the nobility lost ground, influence, and power. It was a nightmare that was only going to escalate as it directly led to wwii and the terminal decline of the European colonial projects.
In the wake of this decline America steps in to protect Europe from the expansion of communism. America sees Europe as the mother continent and assumes that there is shared cultural values. America pours trillions into rebuilding the continent, gives them favorable trade deals, and helps to reindustrializd them. To the European establishment this is an utter humiliation. Not only did a bunch of peasants succeed without their guidance and greater clarity. They exceeded them. And no only exceeded them but when Europe destroyed itself the peasants rebuilt it all up. From the American perspective it was acting in its interests but the Americans were and are largely ignorant to the injured pride of the European elites.
The interpretation of the world wars is different in the us and in Europe. The European elites downplayed colonialism and focused on nationalism as being the cause. In their conclusion the fervor of the people, which they whipped up, was to blame. Furthermore, the people clearly could not be trusted to vote correctly because the Germans voted in Hitler. Therefore they had to manage liberalize democracy. The institutions and laws they built were with the express purpose of curbing the influence of the people and to ensure they vote correctly and if not that it wouldn’t matter. The purpose of the EU was not only to be a trade zone hit rather to fulfill the European elites long held dream to unite the continent under their enlightened rule. The Americans assumed they shared cultural values in regards to strong rule of law, the ability to defend themselves, love of God and country, etc which was not the case.
The European aristocracy blames nationalism and religiosity for the collapse of their power. They have long held a deep reservation towards national sentiment because they do not identify with the people they ruled. Nationalism could easily mean revolution against them. They loved to whip it up when it served their ends but they never truly believed in it or liked it. Many European conservatives do not realize that the monarchy they defend not only hates them, but views them with suspicious contempt and sees them as interchangeable numbers on a spreadsheet. As the English conservatives for example defend the monarchy from the left, the establishment there intentionally ignored their desire to leave the EU and to stop migration. To the European elite, national identity is not only an inconvenience but a threat. To them there is no difference between some guy waving an English flag and Muhammad. They’re both equally below them. The European elites do not care that the commoners get raped, murdered, or replaced. Furthermore, the new money of America wants to emulate their European counterparts.
Likewise, they blame religion for the various long conflicts and they’ve had a long project of removing religion from Europe in order to establish their ideal society. They also blame religion for the rise of nazism and intentionally undermined the various religions of Europe.
European elites indifference to national ideas one of the major issues with their colonial empires which led to violent civil conflicts when they left their colonies. Likewise, it will lead to violence in the west as systems buckle.
The euro elite frequently ally with Jewish factions for various reasons. The first is neither identity with the people in their countries. The second is that they could circumvent some of the rules regarding usury. The third is that they often ran in the same intellectual circles. Going back to Maximilian I of Mexico, part of why he lost is that the Mexican conservatives wanted a Catholic king but in many ways Maximilian agreed more with the liberal rebels. This hurt his support and ultimately the ability to exercise control over Mexico resulting in his execution.
The current European elite are completely ignorant of the threat to mass migration and believe they can make the neo-Europeans unbelievers. They successfully removed religion from Europe, and especially Germany, and they believe they can do it to Muslims. They think they can make Muslims into subservient diversity drones that act and think like them but are only different in a skin deep kind of way.
Thus, they view America’s values of national pride and religion as not only barbaric but active threats. They work with American intellectuals and elites to export their project to America. Their end goal is that we protect them so they can have infinite gibs up until they can unify the continent or at least long enough to form a panEuropean army and kick us out. The Germans in particular fund antifa and far left views in order to align America with themselves. They are actively subverting our country and our culture because they perceive us as existential threats. Hence why stopping USAid was an essential move. Also why we must not only remove the NGOs and progressive nonprofits here but we must actively wake up to the bitterness held against us from the European establishment and their allies.
Basically, the progressive establishment is a giant time bomb. They have idiotic views in regards to energy and demographics. It’s basically a religion to them. They may have stopped believing in God but underneath the surface they’re still fanatics for their enlightened views which they push through European institutions. Their deindustrialization is also partially encouraged by Russian saboteurs but it’s largely a self goal. They believe it full heartedly and will not be dissuaded. They also believe incorrectly that they can en masse take the least educated and most radical Muslims and make them into globalist drones. They incorrectly believe that they can act as agents of their own agendas and ignore their very open desire to islamify the West. They are repeating the same mistakes they made in colonizing Asia and Africa but within their own borders.
Their greatest error is that the European elite think that just because they have more people that it will prop up their welfare state. The truth is that the majority of migrants are not net contributors but net takers. Which makes sense. If you’re well to do why would you leave to Europe? The only people who will go are the dregs of society with little to offer. To mention this is heresy politically incorrect and will result in prison time, but it doesn’t change reality. Mass migration is a catalyst for their welfare systems to collapse. Rather than collapsing after all the boomers are dead it’s collapsing now. And when it does collapse, they will not have the honesty or wherewithal to accept responsibility, and will blame America.
In my opinion America should support nationalists and conservative populists in Europe. Bringing sanity back to Europe will serve us well. It’s good for America's interests and for the world.

Basically the European elites are so arrogant they don’t think the Muslims can organize and undermine them. They also will never forgive America for outshining them.
