I cannot stress enough that this country is doomed forever and nothing will ever bring it back. It's only going to get worse from here.

What you're describing is the result of young leftists who don't know anything about the world trying to get involved into politics. Yeah we have those on the right too those are called groypers, but that's not who I'm talking about. I'm talking about younger people (i.e not geriatric boomers who only care about their 401K, the liquidity of they mcMansion, and unconditional support for Israel). People in their mid-late 20's who actually want to start a family and own a house, who actually want a future in this country and are invested in it. Things would be a lot better if we had those kinds in charge rather than 80 year olds who couldn't care less what happens because they're going to die any moment.
