Every time Iran allegedly does something, Trump promises consequences that are "at a level never seen before". It's hilarious because aside from bombing everything and anything (including schools), a "level never seen before" at this point would be just nuking Iran out of existence.

And "REAL energy dominance" is relying more on fossil fuels which are a finite resource and extremely polluting.

And let's not forget Trump rolled back regulations on air pollution (Archive). This makes his "cleanest refinery in the world" claim more bogus as they likely don't need to equip as stringent emissions scrubbing equipment or other pollution control mechanisms.

The company renamed themselves from "Element Fuels" to "America First Refining" to get more handouts and subsidies from the corrupt Trump administration. I'd really be interested to see the economics of how they can profitably produce hydrogen from fossil fuels (or God forbid, water) to power the refinery given this is done at no other refineries anywhere else on Earth.

Plus the company is calling the Gulf of Mexico the "Gulf of America" which should show you how serious this is. This refinery will never be built but a lot of people will make a lot of money from the grift in the meantime.

Anybody remember the Arizona Clean Fuels refinery outside Yuma, AZ from the mid-2000s?
