And it’s actually done as a punishment for (male) homosexuality. Not just that, the first fatwas approving it, incidentally enough, were due to a troon breaking into the Ayatollah’s house and all but forcing him to let him troon out or else. (He did eventually get his wish, only he ended up getting the chop in Thailand because the Iranian process took too long to his liking.) Yet again, so called progress for troons is actually fucking over other people for their own benefit.

It was fine because it was a club for people about to become adults and wasn’t forcing everyone to participate. Pride days in elementary schools only benefit the Billies of the world.

Public schools are troon factories already. What more does he expect them to do? They kids are coming out illiterate but they sure as shit know all 13 genders recognized by the State of California. Life update. Billy’s car might get repossessed. Asks for people to pledge to his Patreon (which requires “hundreds” more for him to have a living wage, by his own estimate) so he can save it.

Six weeks ago, I posted about how thinly stretched we had been, mostly because I am terrible at self-promo and algorithms aren't helping in that regard. I then promised to post more about my Patreon, which would require a few hundreds additional base-level subscribers to make a living wage (thank you to the lovely readers who subscribed or sent a coffee at that moment <3 it means so much), before feeling awkward about it and proceeding not to mention it again until... well until now, because I just received a letter saying that my car would be seized if I didn't pay what I owe immediately.

We live in the middle of nowhere, so having that happen would be devastating. I'm at my wits' ends. I'm so tired of struggling just to get by, a feeling many of you might know as well. And with all that's happening everywhere lately, the temptation is high to just give up and do rash things. But that wouldn't be fair to all of you who have been supporting me and my work this entire time - which I'm forever grateful for. So I'm gonna keep trying. What else?

I've been tempted to get back on the road, lately - speaking engagements and book signings have sustained me for many years, until it became too dangerous, with all the threats I was receiving, and neo-nazi groups showing up during my few last tours. But maybe that's just what I'm meant to do. Until I get that organized, there's still that letter.

So that's that. I know we'll make it through, maybe stronger, even though it might be a rough ride. As I mentioned, now is a great moment to consider becoming a patreon supporter. If the idea of monthly or yearly support is daunting or stressful, you can also get me a coffee (links in comments).

I hope my work brings you relief in these trying times, even though every strip is simply reiterating that you're not alone in every way possible, because I need to believe it too.
