Mostly the latter, more than the former.

Peptides/peppers/biohacking is the latest tech-bro fad. How it works is you order random chemicals online, the chinese manufacturer ships them to you of course, and you inject these into your blood. If injecting random non-regulated chems from chinrse manufacturer labeled "for research purposes, not personal" to look younger is not something you'd do, there's something wrong with you. All the cool people are doing it!

If girl-potion can turn you into a girl, peptides can bio-hack immortality, right?

I have no input/story, I just wanted to bring the discussion on Kf and get your input.

The order you see in creation is that which you have put there, like a string in a maze so you shall not lose your way; for nature has an order all its own, and that no man's mind may compass.

I've become a bit of a grey market peptide enthusiast lately. A couple of tips for anyone wanting to dabble. I won't name sources but you can find vetted ones on the GLP1 forums and Stairway to Grey
If you can pay with a credit card you're paying too much. This might be worth it if you just want to see if peptides are for you but make sure that when you buy you're buying what's known as a 'kit', which is typically 10 vials of the peptide. The vendors that show up in ads on Facebook/Reddit/TikTok and at the top of google search are selling you a single vial for the price of a kit

Don't buy direct from China, but if you're not dealing with a chink you're paying too much. Look for someone who only operates via Telegram and/or Discord and has a US warehouse that they ship from. You'll likely email them to set up the order manually and receive responses in the middle of the night

The reason you want a US warehouse over direct from china despite it being slightly more expensive, on top of faster shipping and no chance of seizure, is that if you get seized you might lose TSA pre-check and/or Global Entry if you're signed up for those services

If the vendor DMs you first it's a scammer, you will 100% receive friend requests/DMs from impersonators when you join their discord/TG

You'll need crypto. Make sure you know the basics like how to send coins on the various networks because if you do it wrong there's no way to fix it. Don't send direct from an exchange or you might lose your exchange account, you'll basically need to do it the way you do to send crypto to the farms where you go through an intermediate personal wallet like Exodus etc.

You want a vendor who has Janoshik results, and ideally a vendor that sells enough volume that there are 3rd party testing groups also testing their peptides just to keep them honest. Alternatively, you can sacrifice one vial from your kit and send it to Janoshik yourself, the testing is $300 which is probably more than you'll pay for the kit which is why testing groups are so valuable.

If you can't get syringes without a prescription in your state you can still get veterinary syringes on Amazon. Alternatively you can shop around and find a diabetes supplier who just doesn't give a shit and will send you diabetes syringes regardless of the law. Easy Touch and BH Supplies are both good and available on amazon. 31 gauge needles hurt less but if you're fat-fingered they're easy to bend. 29 gauge 3/8" or 5/16" are plenty comfortable, I do use 31 gauge/5/16" myself without much trouble. You can buy them in .3ml, .5ml, and 1ml, no real reason not to buy 1ml since they're all the same price

You'll also need bacteriostatic water, Hospira is the gold standard. Technically this is another prescription-only thing in a lot of places but none of the places that sell it seem to care. Peptidetest is probably the best place to buy it. Don't buy research bac water on amazon it's mostly untreated tapwater. Lambda is ok-ish if you just refuse to source Hospira, the rest are trash. If you search Hospira on Amazon you'll get bootleg imitation Hospira that I haven't seen tested but it's very likely garbage. Hospira seems expensive but when you realize how little you actually need of it you'll realize it's worth the small premium over the cheaper alternatives

In addition to the diabetes syringes I mentioned, they're not necessary but I also have some beefy 3ml 23gauge/1" needles for reconstitution. The vials are vacuum sealed and 3ml, the vacuum seal makes it very hard to draw a shot if you don't add air, so I like to draw the amount of water I need, then fill the rest of the syringe with air, and shoot that in all at once, then shoot in additional air prior to drawing each shot. You could do your shots with these but most peptides want to be injected into fat tissue and if you're slim enough 1" might be too long, not to mention 23g needles are way thicker than 29-31g and can cause bleeding/bruising

My most frequently used peptide is Selank, and I will happily attest that it is absolutely fucking incredible. The pharmacology of it is very interesting, but effectually it is an anxiolitic that also improves your memory and immune system.

I notice a subtle effect immediately, but the compounding effects of daily use really are wonderful. Not personally prone to anxiety or anything, but my wife is. It helped her as well. Not as powerful as say, a benzo, but it also doesn't turn your brain into swiss cheese.

I have a friend who fucked up his leg pretty bad. He was showing off while leapfrogging across a room (our entire class was running circuits, and the instructors had us leapfrog to change up the pace). He managed to make a few 10 foot leaps in a row and landed badly on the last one, tore a quad in a couple of places and collapsed. Ended up getting recycled for a few portions of the training. He started taking some peptides, I don't remember which (maybe bpc 157?) and was able to get back in class for a later portion of our training almost fully healed about a month later. It was an extremely rapid recovery for the amount of damage he did to his quad.

I have another friend, older lady, who took bpc 157 and didn't get anything out of it. Not much to say there.

Last one - I've tried phenotropil and can say that it's pretty great. Very noticeable cognition enhancer.

Good info, but I will add: I don’t know much about encryption but I don’t trust messaging sources on discord. I would recommend setting up a Proton Mail to do all communications through.

Also on Coinbase there is generally a hold when depositing funds from your bank account. For me it’s usually a week regardless of the amount. Also don’t lie about anything when opening up your crypto account or when ordering from a source. That’s a good way to catch your local post offices attention is to order this shit using an alias.

I have been wondering about one thing as I don’t know much about crypto: do you use the same wallet or address when placing consecutive orders? I saw on another forum that you’re suppose to change your wallet ID or address or something if you reorder from the same source, was curious what the consensus was.

This is definitely a good addition. I don't know any vendors that do business directly through discord but I'm sure they exist, I just use them to track prices/sales/stock. An as-anonymous-as-you-can-get email is definitely the way to go for interacting with the vendor

If you want to avoid holds I know Robinhood will let you instantly purchase crypto with a new account, with the caveat that you have to purchase it with a debit card. If you try to do a bank transfer or anything like that there's a 5-7 day hold. I was also able to purchase instantly on Kraken with a debit card but I think Robinhood might have better rates. One nice thing about Kraken was I didn't have to upload an ID, they were able to verify me just using the tax info they need, though I'm fairly limited on how much crypto I can buy, I think $1000 a month until I upload an ID which is way more than I need

And yeah, don't fuck around signing up for the exchange or on shipping info. Good way to get the IRS/USPS on your case

That I'm not sure about, I'm a crypto newbie too. I know the vendors rotate their wallets so you need to be sure you're sending to the right wallet. My main vendor wants you to send $5 first so they can verify you're not a retard sending the wrong coins or sending stuff on the wrong network, wrong wallet, etc before you send the rest of the payment, so it's important to always get an up-to-date wallet code from them before paying

For personal wallets, I've heard some exchanges will track the coins they sell for up to five subsequent transfers if it's possible to do so with a given coin, but I haven't heard of anyone getting their exchange account banned or personal wallet blacklisted as a result. I assume they do that in case you decide to send the crypto to Iran or something rather than to stop you from buying drugs/peptides/etc

I’ve been thinking about ordering some reta and selank or semax from a supplier that is recommended in the DIY aesthetics community. I’m not keen on the bpc-157 etc peps unless I was trying to heal an injury.
I can’t really talk though, I order botox and PDRN from Korea and DIY that, it’s approved and licensed not grey market like peps are.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't need special products to fix your skin and no, your skin likely isn't unique so there's no justification to buy whatever specialized chink garbage you've seen online. I assure you, Cerave is probably all you need. Most of the Oriental skincare industry is just repackaged western products sold at a premium anyways.

I didn’t know peptides were used as a skincare product? Do any pharmaceuticals beyond retinol (besides acne treatments) have a significant impact on your skin anyway?

They're like an ingredient so probably not a by itself type thing.
Most skincare products hardly do anything; the only ones that do shit are prescribed but plenty of quacks will try to prescribe you with the heavily diluted version so you keep coming back to them and occasionally switch up treatments. You this most often with younger derms because the bar fell down to the fucking floor when the skincare industry went through a boom in the 2010s.
Big western brands like Cerave and roach pussy (I'm not googling the proper name) are the best for general skincare.
