Don’t mean to repeat a question that has probably been asked before but how has this kerfuffle affected the Euro and Dollar? I heard that it was strengthening the dollar and weakening the euro, but i thought that President Trump wanted a weaker dollar?

3. FPVs are slow you are going to need to be camped out for a while even if you plan on only making a single strike much less enough to be an effective deterrent. Probably a bad Idea if drones and fighter jets are looking for you.

Shaheds could be an effective deterrent but Iran's capacity to launch even those is degrading and they aren't exactly hard to shoot down. Iran relies on volume and a large region of potential targets to get successful impacts. The second half of which wouldn't be true if you only have to protect tankers. Maybe Iran could attempt some strikes with Ukraine style semi submersible drones idk.

Couple things to correct, Shaheds are not "FPVS" they are "Suicide drones" they have built in computers with AI that have pre promgrammed targets, they dont communicate with the ground AT ALL, they are entriley autonomous once launched they also have far larger payloads than you might expect

a hellfire missles has a payload capacity of about 20 pounds

they use props not jets so they dont put out any exhaust or heat to track and move realtivley slowly so traditional air defense radars just don't pick them up

I was talking about FPVs and Shaheds as two separate entities. I was explaining why FPVs would not work in the role.
Also traditional air defense 100% can pick them up. Low speed drones are easily detectable. The bigger problem is the cost of shooting them down and the sheer volume.

Trump should take the Straight of Hormuz (archive) like he says in this article. It was promised to America by God 10k years ago. It’s rightful American clay just like Greenland, Canada, England, Wales, and Scotland.
