Ohio started switching over a few years back, last time I renewed my drivers license I updated. Now, when I go to vote, they scan it into the system, I give my signature, then I get my ballot. Some how, Ohio manages to have relatively secure elections and we can count everything the same day. I automatically assume anyone counter signaling using ID to vote is at the very least, spiritually brown, third-world, and shitlib. No, I don't care if it slightly inconveniencies your lazy ass, if you're too fucking lazy to have the ID requirements, you're too lazy and stupid to vote. Voting is for people with skin in the game, who care to be eucivic, which no shitlib or Libertarian is, and so they shouldn't get to vote.

In order to get a REAL ID, you have to show multiple, current documents that prove citizenship, It's a federally managed standard list.

Not every state has the same requirements, some add additional ones. Ohio didn't need both a social security card and birth certificate, but it did require the BC or passport, etc.

Incorrect. You can be a legal immigrant and still get a real ID, much like in any state. Here, for texas, I even did their online questionnaire saying I have the following:
"government sponsored cheat code"
There is problems but I’m guessing this will help cleanup a lot because it also allows more definitive tracking of who is voting and their ballot. My ID is scanned when I vote.
You can just claim asylum and get an asylum card in any state, red or blue or purple, and get an ID. You're here "legally" until your case is processed.
