The only way her report is getting any follow up at all is if she comes in with video and physical evidence and a wrangler who can help her present a provable incident of nonconsensual physical violence with injury, the place and date it happened, and the exact injuries that it caused.

There is so much lower hanging fruit for the cops to go after basically everywhere, and Mint has already gotten out of the situation so there isn't even the captian-save-a-ho angle.

It will depend on what she has. Maybe texts or photos. Riley is stupid enough to provide such. He admitted to cops that he films kids without their consent all the time. It is very much possible for him to dig his own grave.

Oh I don't think a goddamned thing is gonna happen legally here.

I just have zero trouble believing he abused the shit out of her, and that she lacked the capacity to consent to a lot of the gross shit they had her do.

FWIW, my prediction for Riley is, and has long been, that he'll pull his IRL stalking shit on the wrong person one of these days and get mag dumped.

Listening to Mint, I don't think she has any intention of doing anything to Riley let alone go after anyone else. Especially Juju. The entire narrative is "Riley is bad boyfriend" and she seems to just have been passed from one bad guy using her to a new bad guy using her in SchizoSean. And there is little if any dirt being spread about anything other than specifically Riley. Part of the new narrative also seems to be that there was not really anything ever wrong with Mint and if there ever seemed to be anything going on with her doing bad on streams or whatever.....that was all Riley's fault for trying to control her. She am smart. Believe hr.

You can also see how tightly SchizoSean wants to keep her on a particular narrative that seems more his narrative than hers. She didn't leave the cult. She was just transferred to a new member.

I can not express to you, in words, the size of the shit-eating grin I will have on my face when I log into the Farms one of these days, and there is an announcement that Juju has been arrested for something serious.

Thus far he's been considerably smarter than Rekieta and EVS in that he does his "crossword puzzles" off screen and low-key, but I can't help but think his luck is gonna run out eventually.

That is true. It does not change the fact that SchizoSean is probably smarter than Riley and can have his own "onahole" if he plays his cards right. He is not kinder but if he restricts his degeneracy to stuff Mint can accept, he can do this indefinitely. Riley went full-on wife beater.

I think that he is less likely to burst in an explosion of scandals and more likely to deflate to nothing but a husk. He is slowly losing power and influence. He lost Sean, a massive chunk of his fans, the respect of the internet, his identity as a womanizer and much more. I bet he does not indulge into his degeneracy as much either anymore. He has become a hasbeen dad that hangs out with degenerates and crashed out over nothing. He even tries to keep a distance from Vito now. He is clearly slowly but surely realizes that he is the master of broken monsters.

What I am trying to get at is that I doubt there will be a scandal that will sent him in prison. He will be losing relevance as every part that made his show interesting leaves and then he will be unknown. Unless one of his degenerates is arrested and convincing evidence of his complicity in crimes is found, he will just be forgotten.

Yeah, the really big pop media critic YouTubers who get tens of millions of views each month actually do get some attention from dudes in the industry. Because less people go the theaters these days and get recommendations for, form opinions about, or straight up consume media vicariously through guys like Critical Drinker in the like, these guys have disproportionate affect on public opinion of media. Only Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel at their peak had more influence as critics. Even then, with how much real estate movies and TV have loss to YouTubers, streamers, videogames, and the like, the top YouTube critics like CD, Nerdrotic, MauLer, and the like might edge them out collectively. The guys in film, TV, and comics just don't like to acknowledge this openly.

Interestingly, the gaming industry has the exact opposite problem. Because gaming lacks the "prestige" of older mediums, both the devs and execs openly acknowledge the power of influencers and will go to outrageous degrees to try to court them for good exposure with review copies, early access, straight up bribes, or flying them out so they can blow them at resorts while they play their slop-ass games.

It depends, from my opinion it's usually more of a toss-up.

The bigger/more influential studios will buy out creators to smother the complaints (like Bethesda and 343). Smaller studios and teams tend to be the ones that go on a tardrage.

Simple Dick is beyond sad to watch. He literally believes that everyone has as much free time as he dose and no friends or family to spend it with. Drinker could have a girlfriend, or he could be married and have kids, but see he's smart enough NOT to over Share with the internet.
Dick meanwhile has nothing to share because he's an old washed up, never has been that only comicsgate people and this thread care about.
 
Does anyone else think Eric July is really fucking funny? I think it's probably mostly unintentional, but his mannerisms and the kind of overly serious edge he has coupled with all these jokers just constantly taking shots at him is halarious.

He IS funny. Just not as funny as the circumstances around him. He is overshadowed.
