It sounds retarded because it is. That is not how national debt or the dollar standard works. The idea that Iran can do more than cause a slight road bump in the global oil supply (especially at this point) or that Russia and China have some sort of magical immunity to it is pretty funny though.

I think a talking filibuster would be a dream come true for Democrats.

Not that they'll win, but it would be a perfect excuse to hear themselves talk and talk about nothing forever, and every word of their meaningless platitudes would "hurt Trump" so they'd love it.

Nancy Pelosi and Bernie Sanders won't be standing and talking for days, but Alexandra Ocasio Cortez would love the job. I imagine they'll make it a circus, her rallying her side with the microphone:
"When I say fuck, you say Trump, FUCK!"
"TRUMP!"
"FUCK!"
"TRUMP!"
For hours and hours and days on end. Maybe the guy in the lion suit will show up and give out prizes. Inflatable frogs and dinosaurs will dance against bigotry etc.
