A lot of "numbers" either kinda have a lot of context around them or are not widely shared with the public. I don't really want to share my personally collected data on this topic.

I like to assign probabilities to my predictions and keep track of them. Ya know, quantify things to get better at this thing called politics. By my numbers, I have it at 15% of full ground invasion.

So unlikely and really there'd have to be several key things happen to get us solidly to that 15% (with the biggest sub-factor itself at 25%). However, boots on the ground at Kharg Island? 30% for special forces.

I don't have any super secret shit collected or anything but he's most likely referring to increasing defaults made worse by recent collapses in UK property lending. This has been brewing for a few months, there's nothing "new" about it. I wouldn't necessarily attach the war to it, it's probably as good a time as any. We're definitely heading full speed ahead for a 2008-style recession though and have been for a few years now, we're just getting to the point where the can cannot be kicked down the road any longer, inflation is already elevated, debt/GDP is too high, most people are priced out of property, bad credit defaults at a local high, the job market is held up (if that) strictly by healthcare and healthcare services for the end-of-life boomers while everyone else is laying people off, and now we're getting an oil shock on top of it all.

I hope you have savings.
